both transverse at 27 weeks, will they move?

I was really getting into the idea of not having a c-section, but at this time both boys are transverse (heads on the right, feet on the left).  It is still possible for them to move into "position", right?

Please give me hope!

Re: both transverse at 27 weeks, will they move?

  • My boys are both transverse and was told they have plenty of time to move around and get in position so I wouldn't worry too much yet.

  • yes they totally can! both my boys flipped the last week at 37 weeks and they were both 6lbs7oz when I delivered so you have plenty of time :)
  • yep! ?Mine were always transverse until late in my pg. ?Actually dd (baby B) remained transverse, but ds (baby A) did turn head-down in time for ?delivery. ?Good luck!
  • Mine were both transverse at 27 weeks and they moved, but both went breech and stayed that way.  There is plenty of time for the to change positions.  Just keep an open mind, because even if both are heads down or Baby A is heads down doesn't mean you might now have a c-section.  Sorry I know that doesn't give you hope, but its reality.
  • From what I understand you still have plenty of time for them to move around, though still no guarantee they end up vertex. My guys are in a different positions every time we 'see' them so who knows where they'll be situated when the time comes!
