We are trying Good Start without the DHA/ARA today. This will be the 6th kind of food we've tried on Leo (breastmilk, Similac Advance, Similac Organic, Enfamil Gentlease, and similac sensitive, in that order...). Next we'll have to move to soy which I really would like to avoid (just b/c the poor kid is gonna eat so much soy as he gets older since we are vegetarians...) and if that doesn't work, we're talking the expensive, hypoallergenic stuff...
The GS idea came after a lot of research - it is good for sensitive babies apparently. And the DHA/ARA has been linked to gastro issues in many kids- so we're thinking maybe that isn't helping the situation either. I hate that my kid won't get those extra nutrients, but hey, if it eases his pain, so be it...
Please send me some good vibes.. Leo's poor little belly can;t take much more of this. We are all exhausted!
Come on Nestle... I love your chocolate; work your magic with formula too, please...
Re: I need "find the right formula" dust...:)
Hahahaha, I love your last line...
I hope you find a good match with this formula!! That must be such a constant worry... poor Leo.
Good luck--I hope this is the last one you have to try. I feel your pain/frustration--we had to try a variety of formulas before we ended up on the hypoallergenic stuff. It's expensive but she was a different baby within a week. It was amazing.
::sending good formula vibes your way::
:::formula dust and tummy calming dust too:::
it took us a few tries, too. ?i hope the good start will be the one for (seriously adorable) Leo!?

Good luck! I have a couple Good Start formula checks sitting on my kitchen counter right now. I've been sending them to AngelsAmid, but I'm sure she wouldn't mind if I sent a set to you! E-mail me with your address if you want them and I'll get them in the mail on Monday.
