  The swivel wheel is handy, but it's most important if you plan to use the stroller while shopping or running around town. If not, the fixed wheel is fine.

  LOVE our BOB.  We have an Ironman with the fixed wheel since we can use our Quinny for anything else other than running.  I worked at Right Start when I was PG and we told people that if they planned to RUN 3 or more miles a week, they should get a fixed wheel.

  My husband is the runner in the family, and we have a BOB as well. ?He loves it. ?We got it on Craigslist pretty cheap.

  I love my Baby Jogger with a fixed front wheel. it keeps it very straight so it's not all over the place every time there's a pebble or crack in the sidewalk.  i got it on craigslist also - i had to be patient, but got a Super Super deal.

  I have a BabyJogger Performance.  It has a fixed front wheel, which I preferred because it will be used solely for running and is more stable/safe.  It rides great.  DS loves it!

  The BOB joggers w/ swivel wheels allow you to also fix the wheel - so it offers both.
