Lots of BH- normal?

in 3rd Trimester

Anyone else have lots of braxton hicks?  I talked to my doctor and she said to call if I have >6 in an hour.  Seems like last night and today I have had like 3-4 an hour, they are not painful and I have no signs of preterm labor.  Wondering if this is normal?

    I would call your dr, just in case.  I talked to my dr about them yesterday and if you have that kind of concern and that frequent, I would call

    normal if its less than 6 an hour. I had them from 16 wks on, and then at 30+ wks they got more intense like cramps and more often. When you get them write the time down if you feel they are occuring more often. at 34 wks I was having 7-8 an hour and they had me in to check. they spaced out eventually, drink water and get rest.

    I started having them around 24 weeks, and I usually have 3 or 4 a day, but they aren't regular enough and don't really hurt, so the doctors told me not to worry about it.

    I would call your doctor. Mine increased from 1-2/day to about 40/day a week ago. I was put on 3 days of bedrest to calm them down, then took it easy last weekend. I left work early one day this week because of an increase in number.

    I had only had 5 this morning and decided to go to the grocery store. An hour of walking and we ended up rushing me home to lie down drink water, and see if they slow down. That whole hour felt like one big BH and I'm going to go to L&D if they don't stop.

    This was happening to me on Tuesday. I was having about 5-6 and hour. I called, they told me to chug a bunch of water and finish my class (I'm a hs teacher) and call back during lunch. There were still happening when I called back so they had me come in check me out. Everything was fine and they just told me to stay off my feet for a day or two. Now they've slowed down and everything is back to normal.
