DS has always hated the plastic infant tub. HATES. I thought he hated baths so I started taking them with him and he loves being in the big tub with me and now loves his bath. I dont mind bathing with him, but its sort of pain to fill the big and get in with him when its only quick 5-10 minute bath. DS can sit but he's still wobbly, especially in water. Any suggestions?

Re: bathtub after infant tub?
What about the kitchen sink?
That or they make this thing for them to sit in. It's about $30 or $40 though.
We got this and LOVE it!

I never used an infant bathtub. When DS was teeny tiny, I would fill maybe 1/2 inch to an inch in the big tub, and just lay him down. Wash him up, flip him over, wash him up then done.
Until he can sit up well, just use less than an inch of water, give him some good splashes and be done.
DS can sit and stand up now, so he gets about 3-4 inches of water.
Good luck!
Her it is.

I haven't tried this yet so I'm not sure how it will work, but a friend of mine just suggested it to me...
Put a big rectangular laundry basket in the bathtub. You won't be able to fill it with too much water, but at least will be able to get a few inches of water in the bottom part of it for the baby to sit in. Then you can also put some bath toys in there and they will stay within reach and not float away.
Like I said, I haven't tried it yet, so I'm not sure about how it works. I just don't know if I would be able to get enough water in the laundry basket? I guess it just depends on what type of laundry basket you have and how much space there is before the holes. Might be worth a try.
