Still no luck. I've gone all the way down to the pubic bone, all the way to the left and right and I can only find my HR (I assume the 2 placentas).
At 13w1d with twins, I assume I should find the HR's? I don't know if I have anterior placentas or not, but if you do, would it be hard to find the babies HR?
Re: fetal doppler questions
This happened to me a few times. Here is what I would do: empty your bladder (I know they say full, but for me, empty was alwasy easier). Lay down, start low, and move slowly from the center to the left, then back, then to the right. I mean SLOW. If you don't find it there, move it up slightly, and repeat. If you can't find them even then, get up and stop trying, because you are just going to get frustrated. Try again tonight.
Good luck!! Don't get discouraged if you can't find it. It will get easier over time. My main tip is move the probe so slowly!!
Ditto LVBlvd. Also make sure you're using LOTS of the doppler gel or lotion. Press harder than you probably think you need to and go lower and slower than you think possible. Try angling the probe differently as you're in different locations (again, slowly). And try not to worry - it take a little while to get the hang of it.
Has your OB been able to find the h/bs with the doppler?

Sorry your still having trouble! Don't get frustrated though....you are still early for home dopplers to work great (my OB gave me this lecture, she said their dopplers are well over 1k and VERY sensitive!)!
I have a retrverted uterus, so it tips back a bit. Maybe one baby is behind the other, and just out of reach!
Good luck sweety.....and don't drive yourself crazy!
