Washington Babies

My regularly unfriendly cat..

Has not left my side all day long!   She has even followed me to the bathroom, and then waited outside the door for me.

Can I take this as a sign that I will be going into labor soon? Or do you think that's reaching....

Stick out tongue

Re: My regularly unfriendly cat..

  • A sign!

Have no idea, really. But anything that can make for a positive outlook is good for me!

  • I definitely believe animals have a sense of something happening. The day we found out we were expecting, our dog wouldn't leave my side for anything.

Keep us posted!! You and IG could share the same labor day!

  • I say sign. My cats both got really clingy the weeks before Sydney was born. I swear they know.
  • I'd say sign! :)

TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.
  • I say it's a sign, too   My cats always know when something is up and "take care" of me.  GL!!!!!

  • It's totally a sign. Your cat knows we want to know Jer'Magesty's real name. Stick out tongue  Seriously, though, I hope you have your little one soon!
  • My dog did this the whole week before DS was born! Animals can tell!

  • Are you feeling better yet?  If so, then I totally hope it is a sign!

My normally very friendly cat, completely stayed away from me and wanted nothing to do with me right before and during labor.  They can tell when things are up!

  • That's funny, when we met with our doula Wednesday she was telling us it's likely one or both of our cats will stick very close to me when I'm in labor...so I'd say it's definitely a sign!
