Exercise during 3rd tri..

What did you do? Or are you currently doing?

I have been good at my walking but wonder if I'm doing too much/not enough. Sometimes I get an achey back but figure that's normal going into this stage.

  • Oops, I forgot to say what I'm doing. I'm walking 5 days a week on average for about 30 minutes each time or a little longer. I do a lot of stretching as well. IDK if I'm going to be able to continue this much walking though but feel like I'm slacking a bit.

  • I continued my same routine the entire time with my trainer.  I did stop running but that was b/c my belly was so big it was uncomfortable so I just walked.

  • I did regular yoga (not prenatal) until 32 weeks.  I also kept working out with my trainer 3 x week doing light weights and walked 3 to 4 times a week - I was able to do the training and walking until 35 weeks and I just had to stop because I got put on house arrest then (for my BP)
  • I did Stroller Fit until 37 weeks.  I know that doesn't tell you much.  It was running, resistance training and stretching.  After that I swam.

  • i have a trainer that specializes in pre and post natal workouts.  i go 2x a week.  once i have the baby, i'll go 3x/week.
  • I try and do at least 30 minutes of cardio as well as light weights and toning 4 days a week.
  • I taught my dance classes up until the day I delivered.  Starting around 34 weeks, I went on long walks with my DH.
  • You all are making me feel very lazy and awful.
