Had first acupuncture appt today!

I really liked it. She did not do it with needles though...she used electrode things...she said it is the new thing. Has anyone else used this?? She said she could use needles if I preffered it.

 She also did an adjustment because she said one of my vertebre that is connected to the reproductive system was out of line.

 I go back again on Monday! She wants me to go twice next week since I will be starting my period soon.

    Electrodes? My girl would use needles and then run electricity through them. I would think the needles would be more intense? Even though they are painless ( sooo thin ) they go a ways in. A word of caution - my accupuncturist gave me herbs that I was using for months and when I started with my RE my estrogen was skyhigh. He told me to stop the herbs while under his care because they can really alter your numbers, I was drinking that "fertiltea" all day every day. Its great that you found someone that specializes in bodywork also.

    I've used both. I prefer the needles, but the electrodes are just as effective. It sounds like you went to my place. They're super nice there! :)
