WTF Noel - are you trying to make my day miserable?!
So ds is a very even tempered child. I was letting him sit in my lap and type on the computer when the phone rang. It's the hospital calling to do his pre-surgical work up. No big deal. So within minutes of my starting to talk to this lady Noel starts flailing around in my lap and smashing his hands into the keyboard. That's a no go so he gets put on the floor.
Now he starts shrieking. Great.
I apologise to the lady and pick him up he shrieks louder. I apologise again. Now I haul him out to the other room and put him in the center of a million toys. He plays quitely for, oh, about 45 seconds, then starts shrieking. I pick him up. He quites down for, oh, 10 seconds then starts shrieking right into the phone. Great.
So I move away from him to the kitchen so I can hear this lady (while apologizing again). He follows me. I hand him strange object after strange object. No good. I finally get off the phone with the compltely annoyed lady and now ds is sitting quitely in my lap. WTF!
Normally he has no problems with me on the phone. It's like they have built in radar that says - this isn't daddy/ grandma/ mommys bff on the phone who would understand if I throw a temper tantrum so that is exactly what I'll do. Muwahahaha!!

Can I ask what Noel is having surgery for? Did I miss some posts?
Ok, I was going to but then he kicked the laptop mouse pad and deleted my post so I'll post something later when I get the time. It's nothing overly serious - just ongoing.
