I know it's been asked:...Register?

When did you START registering? My mom wants to go w/ me and start... and I think it is WAY early. But on the other hand, it doesn;t hurt to START, right?

ETA: I went back a few pages and didn't see any links to this ?, so even though i know it has been asked, I hope you can forgive me...

I started an online registry at about 17-18 weeks, so I could get all the basics done in advance, and really research the big items ahead of time (strollers, PnP, car seats, bedding, etc).

Once we had our big ultrasound (21 weeks), DH and I went into the store and finished up the registry and made sure that we liked the bigger items that we had chosen (i.e test the stroller out, carry the car seat around, etc).

We didn't start registering until I was at least 21 weeks along, I think. I wanted to wait until we found out the sex, and I also wanted to give myself time to do a little research, etc. We just finished up our registry within the last week or so.

I registered online at about 16 weeks but I haven't added anything yet. I plan on adding things after my ultrasound on monday.

I started my registry in the 1st trimester. I started one at Target and just kept it private. After the big u/s at 20 weeks we finished the Target one and made it public. Last Sunday we finished our Walmart one.

We registered this week after our big u/s. We wanted to wait until we knew the sex. We probably would have waited a little while longer, but we had both taken the whole day off work and it would be one of the few weekdays we had off together for awhile and I didn't want to register on the weekend in case it was too busy.

We registered the week of new years so I was 16 weeks. Dh was off and we could go during the week and not do the crazy bru on saturday/sunday. I will say we went in and registered then I changed a lot of it online. It's a little overwhelming at first.

I started one online around 18-19 weeks, then got serious about it after the big u/s once we knew the sex. I actually just went into the store last weekend to complete it. So it's been a work in progress, lol.

I'm waiting until I'm about 20 weeks. We've already been told what our babies are, but I'm having another ultrasound in a few weeks, and just want to confirm it before we register.

We started our registry with some of the basic stuff around 16 weeks and we revisit the list periodically to add/delete items.

The lady at BRU told us to wait until Mid-Feb because some of the bigger stuff will be changing.. new stuff in and old stuff on clearance. Hope that helps a little!

We registered at about 14-15 weeks. I wanted to make sure I had time to start buying some of the more expensive items and researching the reviews on others. This way, all the expense won't come in the last month before our son gets here! And...so there are items we really want available for showers!
