XP: Idea for entertaining toddler

I am always looking for things to help me keep DS busy while I cook/clean the kitchen. So, today bought those Valentines window cling heart things.... OMG, he loves them. He keeps putting them on the door in the kitchen and taking them off and rearranging them. He was also really excited to show DH when he got home earlier. It was cute.

I got at least a good 20 minutes out of it.. and hey, 20 minutes is 20 minutes!!

    If he likes that, glue some flannel to the back of a dry erase board and cut out some felt shapes to play around with on the flannel. We have frogs, ponds, farm animals, etc that DD likes to move around and we make up stories about them.

    I've thought about those but am pretty sure my daughter will just eat them at this point so I'm holding off. ?But it's a great idea!?
