we've went bowling, movies, to the ocean, ice skating, zoo lights, fantasy lights, to dinner, to the batting cage...what else?

  • I am a terrible golfer, but I love the driving range! Also you could do "touristy" stuff like the aquarium, pike place market, the SAM or BAM, etc.

  • Some ideas from the book The Best Places to Kiss in the Northwest 7th Edition

    * I have no idea if the places are still in business/available*

    Olympia Brewery

    Tumwater Falls

    Yashiro Japanese Garden

I guess it also depends on where you are willing to drive to.

Is there a wine tasting near by?

Drive in movie in your car - pop, popcorn, get blankets an drinks, stay in the driveway and watch a movie on a portable dvd player or your laptop. If you drive a compact car, you can lay down the back seat and cover with blankets for cushion so there is room to lay down in the back.

Is there a sporting event that will be in your area that interests you and dh?

A cooking evening/class at someplace like Dinners Ready?

A museum? Especially one that has breakables, the you would never, ever venture with a child.

The Goldendale Observatory is high on my list...they have midnight shows.
