contraction timing

For all these lovely ladies that are soon to have little bundles of joy in their arms I wanted to pass on

contractionmaster.com

Keeps a log of your contractions and you just hit the space bar to start and stop timing. I loved it! since everything was in a log format, plus broke down the timing for you, it was easy to see if there was a pattern and if things were progressing.

    I planned to use that, but my water broke before any contractions started. It really is genius.

    I used it!!  It was 1am and I just turned on the computer and sat there hitting the space bar for an hour... sure enough my contractions went from 5min to 2min apart!!  When I told my mom about it, she just rolled her eyes - "you young people and the internet!"  lol

    For me that type of thing was more of a hindrance because it would have caused me to focus on contractions instead of the big picture. I do better relaxing to music and if I notice that I have more than one during a song then I know their timing (generally.)
    Mama to Z - 5.5 years, G - 3.5 years, & M - 1.5 years.
