  a lot (99%) of the housing communities here name the floorplans after the state's parishes ... maybe name them after counties?

  I use to build "green homes" so we named the homes after trees.  Corny I know.  I miss building homes, I hope the economy gets better soon so I can go back to building

  The company and it's communities are based in S. New Mexico... the geographic names don't really fit the look of the house.

  Or butterflies? Monarch, metalmark, birdwing?

  Sea theme? Coral, seahorse, angelfish?

  I like the Shakespeare ones, too. 

  Another literary option: Poe, Hawthorne, Melville, Emerson, Thoreau.

  Or animals: wolf, coyote, mountain lion, antelope, buffalo.

  Okay, I guess I didn't read the part about sounding pretty. lol  I vote Shakespeare.

  My development is named after birds, and I am shocked by the number of people who don't know what a Bald Eagle is.  I always get mail to "Ball Eagle" or "Bold Eagle".

  I like the Shakespeare ones too.

  There are streets here that are all spices. I think they are fun, but maybe not for actual housing communities.
