Babies on the Brain

I was just reprimanded... again...

Not super serious, but they would appreciate if I would stop feeding the mice/rats outside the building...

I was not the only one caught in the act, my supervisor was with me. Embarrassed  Last week she got a warning for feeding the deer near her home as well.

Sorry I love all animals, can't stand to see them starve and freeze.

  • Feed as in come here little rat and you gave them food? Or just left some food out for them? If its the latter, your just helping out a little one in need. Lol. Meanie bossess.

  • Oh Lyssa. We truly are kindred spirits. DH used to get so mad at me for feeding strays with Lucy's food that I started buying a seperate bag of dog food for them.
  • LOL! I respect your love for all animals but I'd probably let the mice starve and freeze.  I am mean I guess.  I'm just so grossed out and terrified of them!

btw.. I've been meaning to tell you I LOVE your sweet doggie in your sig!  Such a sweet, loving face! We wanted a dog just like that but ended up taking a 6 week old black lab that was in dire need of a home quickly and we are head over heels in love with him now.

  • That is sweet but I guarantee you the mice/rats will find other means of food.
  • No, I don't get too close.  I put out left over breakfast and lunch out back.  They are actually very cute looking from a distance.  All brown, pink nose and tail.

  • You just have a really big heart.  Rats are great at finding food, though.  I guarantee they won't starve.
  • We have wild turkeys in the parking lot at work.  People in one of the other offices leaves bird feed out for them.  They are no longer afraid of people or cars and leave "presents" all over the sidewalk.

These are wild animals, if they couldn't find food on their own, the species would no longer exist.

    Oy with the poodles already!
