Babies: 9 - 12 Months

How often do you cut dc's hair?

I know DS has a lot of hair, but it seems like we are always giving him a haircut.  He has now had 5 real haircuts with clippers.  DH does it at home.  He goes about 1 month before it gets shaggy again.  He is definitely our kid!  We both have a lot of hair.

  • I don't. I told DH that she won't get a haircut until she can ask for it! ^_^

  • DD is nowhere close to needing a haircut yet!  Although DH yesterday said he thought she needed one because her hair was coming down over her ears.  Uh, duh, she is a girl...how do you think she'll ever get longer hair if you cut it??  But even if she was a boy I don't think she'd need a haircut yet.  your DS is cute, I love babies with lots of hair!

  • My DH is a guido and very particular about his own hair lol. P has had 3 haircuts now-- the first was to rid him of his combover that sprouted as his newborn black hair started rubbing off/falling out and growing back in BLOND of all things. The next was a buzz cut when the blond got too long. Now we just keep it looking neat. I am not a fan of long-haired boys at all.
  • I wish they had enough hair to cutCrying It's finally starting to really come in.

  • Haven't had one yet, but I need to trim it soon because it's looking pretty bad in the back.
  • LOL! Never, so far. He has downy soft fuzz.

    ?

  • Thus far, we've cut his hair 3 times.  I tend to let it get a little long before I cut it though, because it's such a pain to do.  By the time he is your DS's age, he'll probably have had that many as well.
  • In DH's culture, you don't get their haircut until their 1st birthday. So... we are waiting until then. Although, I love his hair and might not cut it at all.
  • People have always thought he is much older than he is because of his full head of hair.  I can't imagine what it would be like if we had not cut it.
  • He will be getting his 3rd "real" haircut tomorrow...  He has a faux hawk that we gel up everyday and it's getting a little long- the sides are kinda shaggy too so it's time...
  • Jake had his head shaved 4 times for his surgeries.  He has also had two major haircuts.  He has my hair, it grows quickly and it is thick.

    Oh I am.

    *peeks down at siggy*

    Very much so.

  • DD hasn't had a haircut yet. I'm sure we won't cut it until it starts to look messy. Even if her bangs get too long, she's a girl so we can just clip them back or let her rock a Pebbles ponytail.
