4W+3D brown bleeding **TW image of blood

in 1st Trimester
Hello. Currently 4w3d and have a brown bleeding pictured below. I had a chemical my first pregnancy and it was followed by a healthy one. I'm afraid this is another chemical but looking for a little hope that this could just be a pregnancy "period". I haven't called my OB since I was gonna wait until Monday but this happened. Anybody been on the same boat?

    This happened to one of my close friends. She had basically a period from 4w3 - 5w6, was sure she lost the baby. At 6w6 she's nauseous, midwife does a blood test and it's a healthy pregnancy! Baby is 8mo old now. 
    Any update?
