The morning sickness set in for me about a week and a half ago. For those of you managing nausea, what foods have generally been safe for you to eat? I need to try and branch out from tortellini and granny smith apples!
I've found salty foods and protein help my nausea the most this pregnancy (or at least this past week or so). -mashed potatoes - eggs/egg salad -costco chicken so I don't have to cook it - yogurt - built protein bars (a flavor you like)
Saltine crackers saved me for like two weeks. I just ate a few before really eating anything else. I loved apples and peanut butter, yogurt, and most fruit. Orange juice was nice.
Saltine crackers have been my go to. Lots and lots of applesauce. So much applesauce. Any type of pasta/noodles that are soft. Green grapes and strawberries have also been really yummy too. Anything that doesn’t require me to chew too much (chewing a lot leads to me realizing I’m eating and then food aversions creep up= no longer wanting to eat unfortunately). I’ve been stuck on this craving of spinach Patties from golden Krust also. Other than that, I’ve found I only get really nauseous when I wait too long to eat
I'm not gonna lie, Ensure. It's the easiest thing for me, but it also doesn't upset my stomach. I'm trying to find healthier (to consume daily) options. I just got applesauce and will see how that goes.
