What are we eating?

The morning sickness set in for me about a week and a half ago. For those of you managing nausea, what foods have generally been safe for you to eat? I need to try and branch out from tortellini and granny smith apples!

Re: What are we eating?

  • I've found salty foods and protein help my nausea the most this pregnancy (or at least this past week or so).
    -mashed potatoes
    - eggs/egg salad
-costco chicken so I don't have to cook it
    - yogurt
    - built protein bars (a flavor you like)

  • Saltine crackers saved me for like two weeks. I just ate a few before really eating anything else. I loved apples and peanut butter, yogurt, and most fruit. Orange juice was nice.
  • Anything that I don’t have to chew much. Applesauce, bananas, soft noodles, protein shakes
  • Saltine crackers have been my go to. Lots and lots of applesauce. So much applesauce. Any type of pasta/noodles that are soft. Green grapes and strawberries have also been really yummy too. Anything that doesn’t require me to chew too much (chewing a lot leads to me realizing I’m eating and then food aversions creep up= no longer wanting to eat unfortunately). I’ve been stuck on this craving of spinach Patties from golden Krust also. Other than that, I’ve found I only get really nauseous when I wait too long to eat

Soooo much applesauce!! Toast with butter and Greek yogurt cups too!
  • I'm not gonna lie, Ensure. It's the easiest thing for me, but it also doesn't upset my stomach. I'm trying to find healthier (to consume daily) options. I just got applesauce and will see how that goes.
