Placenta Previa - should I be worried at 18 weeks?

Hi everyone. I had my anatomy scan a bit early. I was diagnosed with placenta previa and put on 6 weeks of pelvic rest. A couple questions: should I be worried even though it’s still early? Do we think doc is being dramatic by putting me on pelvic rest? Anything to keep baby boy healthy, just want to know thoughts if you’ve been through this.

    My friend had this with her last. They do try to keep activity and even sexual. Expecailly later in pregnancy because they don’t want anything to start labour.
