Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: Forgot to check but it feels like a bowling ball sometimes 😂

Upcoming appointments: I'm on regular weekly appointments now

How are you feeling?: Getting more tired and achy, feels like baby is getting very ready to leave.

Rants/Raves: Rave: I managed to pull a bunch of extra native plants from my garden and gave them away at my local library. I'm glad I'm still able to do a lot of stuff, had some big walking outings in the city last week too.

    Questions:

GTKY: What's made you laugh recently? Went on a date for the first time in a long time with my husband and when explaining it to my toddler before leaving him with Grandma, he very sweetly asked if he could go on the date too. It was just so cute and earnest and gave me a good chuckle.

Hope you're all doing ok, I know we're all getting close! Except for @travellingjess 😁 Hope your recovery is going well and you're getting lots of new baby snuggles.

Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: Napa cabbage

    Upcoming appointments: 4/16

How are you feeling?: I feel like I’ve felt good this whole pregnancy and like I feel better than I should for 33 weeks lol

    Rants/Raves:
Rave - We had a productive weekend getting ready for baby girl. Still lots to do, but checking some things off the list is a relief! Prepping for baby #2 is so different than prepping for baby #1!
Rant - I got a stone bruise of my left heel, so I haven’t been able to go on walks for about a week now. I miss walking and its benefits.

Questions: Does anyone else feel like time has flown by?! I can’t believe how quickly this pregnancy has gone by and that we’re so close to meeting our new babies!

GTKY: What's made you laugh recently? I’ll piggyback off of @ferret22 ‘s answer and say my toddler. He’s such a silly boy, and I genuinely find him so funny.
  • @ferret22 for real I struggle trying to bend over for shoes and what not. Such is the 3rd trimester 😆

@AarynL I've had the whole flip flop of "holy crap he'll be here any day now" to "wait I still have to get through the month of April and have a birthday". A month+ is a long time but doesn't feel that way in pregnancy terms. I think we're just so busy but also I have this weird inkling in the back of my brain telling me I'll give birth early. But I was a few days past with my first!

Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: he's as tall as 2 Stanley Quencher 2.0 tumblers or something haha

Upcoming appointments: not until next week Friday on the 17th when we start the weekly appointments. Because of my age they said I could do weekly BPP ultrasounds (which might be the same as a growth scan I guess) or NSTs since there's a higher risk of stillbirth the further along I get. NSTs sound boring and I'd rather see baby so I opted for the ultrasounds. What I didn't know is that the growth ultrasound I had at 32 weeks is nearly $500 after insurance so I feel like I might meet my deductible before I even go into labor 😆. But Jesus Christ does stuff feel expensive before the 80/20 coverage kicks in

How are you feeling?: I was having the worst pelvic pain a few weeks ago but it got a lot better after we had sex for the first time in a few weeks. I guess the motions and position really helped work out whatever was aching me so bad 🤣. I have the referral for some PT but don't know if I should use it. I think it's part pelvic floor therapy which makes sense to do it for the labor prep and recovery it can provide me.

Rants/Raves: mad props to my boyfriend for running out and buying Easter baskets, plastic eggs, and little treats for the eggs and setting up an Easter egg hunt on Friday. I was out with my son and my family at the children's museum that morning and he pulled it all together. It felt so good to be with someone who put together something so small but so magical for our kids 🥹. This would have never happened with my ex husband. I found 2 eggs that got left outside so now I get to have a little fun again and tell my boy tomorrow that the Easter bunny came back and left 2 more eggs for him to find!

Questions: am I gonna be in trouble come labor time having not taken any classes or any body prep? 😅 I'm just winging it over here!! Woo

GTKY: What's made you laugh recently? My son still says he has a baby sister in his belly anytime I ask him about his baby brother. Sometimes it's my boyfriend with the baby in the belly instead haha. Maybe he knows something we don't know? 😬 It all goes against my NIPT and anatomy scan though so that'd be crazy!

@inthewoods23 I didn't take any prenatal classes or do yoga or PT to prep like I did last time either. I'm a little nervous about that, I'm hoping my body knows what it's doing and it won't make giving birth harder this time around. Running after a toddler has been plenty of exercise lol.
