May 2026 Babies

Baby is here!

Isla Rose was born today by emergency c-section at 12:44pm after giving mom a scare with all the bleeding I had this am. Apparently I was 8cms dilated at time of surgery and didn't know it cause she was breech and there was no pressure on my cervix at all.

Didn't quite make it to May 2026! Not even to my anticipated delivery date.

She's in NICU on cpap for extra oxygen but was breathing on her own in the OR so that's great news.

Now to be able to stand and move a little so I can go see her after shift change.

Congratulations, so glad to hear your precious baby girl has made her arrival safely! And Isla Rose is a beautiful name. I hope you have a smooth recovery and that Isla continues to do well! Hard to believe this group has officially started having babies!
  • Awww Isla Rose! Very pretty name. Glad to hear she’s healthy and safe!
  • Awww man I can't wait to hold her! We can only hold her at feeding times to not interrupt her sleep and I havemt been too mobile since my c-section so tomorrow will be the day!
  • Omg she's so cute, congrats and glad to hear from you! When's your son's birthday again? The dates must be really close together. 😁 Wishing you all the best in recovery with your sweet new little one.
  • Hello precious little one 😍. Isla is beautiful!
