Taking Baby Aspirin - History of Preeclampsia

Has anyone been instructed to take baby aspirin daily because they have a history of preeclampsia? It’s been about a month now of me taking it, and now I’m getting heart palpitations and getting some chest discomfort. I’m wondering if this is normal when taking baby aspirin or just pregnancy in general. Just want to gather other people’s experiences before I talk to my midwife about it more.

I don’t have a history of preeclampsia but they have me on it because I’m 35 and therefore at a higher risk. I’m also on a beta blocker that controls a heart flutter but I’ve been on that since pre-babies (23w with my second at the moment). It can be normal to have some heart pounding in pregnancy - you’re pumping a significantly increased blood volume through your body. But you should 100% ask your medical provider about it. I always get EKG/Echo done during pregnancy because of my flutter…maybe it would benefit you to have a study like that just to make sure all is well :)
