    Upcoming appointments: Later this week

How are you feeling?: Still tired but getting better. Turns out I was a little anemic! Doc had me switch from Tums to Pepcid and the brain fog / tiredness has been getting better. I'm looking forward to seeing where my iron levels are at this week.

Rants/Raves: Rave: spouse has been helping me catch up on my to do's that I've been struggling with. He's being very patient lately.

    Questions: None

GTKY: With the winter Olympics wrapping up, what's your favorite event to watch? Do you do any winter sports yourself?

Usually I like watching couples figure skating best but this year some of the ski / snowboard competitions were very exciting. I've only skied a few times but I really enjoyed it. I'd like to go again after baby sometime.

GTKY: With the winter Olympics wrapping up, what's your favorite event to watch? Do you do any winter sports yourself?

Curling is definitely my favourite and have been watching it for over 30 years now. I don't do ANY sports let alone winter sports!

Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: a loaf of wonder bread

Upcoming appointments: had one this morning

How are you feeling?: like I’m about to start the third trimester 😅 starting to feel larger and more tired/uncomfortable

    Rants/Raves:

Questions: Does anyone wear a belly band? I didn’t wear one with my first. I try to wear one, but I just feel like I’m doing it wrong. I can’t tell if it’s just squeezing me or actually supporting my bump.

GTKY: With the winter Olympics wrapping up, what's your favorite event to watch? Do you do any winter sports yourself? I didn’t watch any this year, and I live in Florida lol so no winter sports here
  • @travellingjess That stinks, sorry to hear that. Do they think you'll be stuck in hospital through then?

@AarynL I used one for my first and it was helpful with physical therapy to keep my pelvis and hip pain down while walking. My PT recommended a specific one though, maybe it's worth trying a different one if yours isn't working for you? I need to dig mine out from my closet, I definitely need it again.

Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: we're a taller than a pickleball paddle

Upcoming appointments: this Friday for a regular check in. I'm assuming being in 3rd trimester we start talking about birth plans and just getting all prepared for the hospital.

How are you feeling?: feeling really good! Getting the occasional heartburn now

Rants/Raves: I feel bad for never checking in! We moved everything over to the house 3 weeks ago and have been getting all settled in and making improvements so there's so much going on for me!

Questions: anybody already thinking about their hospital bag? I feel like I should start packing but I probably have 1 more work trip to go on and don't want to pack toiletries for the hospital bag yet.

GTKY: With the winter Olympics wrapping up, what's your favorite event to watch? Do you do any winter sports yourself? I always enjoy the ice skating and did watch a little of the hockey. Again. We were just so busy there was no downtime to sit and watch it!

@inthewoods23 Haven't thought about it yet but will probably pack it when I'm like a month out. I ended up not using a lot of what I brought with my first so I might keep it simpler this time. 🤷
  • Honestly pack the hospital bags now if you can. I'm so glad I was able to go home to get mine packed better with things I want or need long term.

@ferret22 I'll be in until baby is either bum or head down (currently she likes being sideways on u/s days) or we hit 36-37 weeks when they will either schedule a c-section or proceed with induction based on her position closer to that time. They won't let me go past 37 weeks as the risk of infection gets higher after that and it's too risky. Honestly I just need to get her packing on some weight as either way I'm looking at a April 10 baby instead of a May 3 baby.
