    1.) ʙᴀʙʏ ɴᴜᴍʙᴇʀ: 2
    2.) ᴅᴜᴇ ᴅᴀᴛᴇ (ᴡᴇᴇᴋꜱ+ᴅᴀʏꜱ): 37w1d; 3/14
    3.) ɴᴇxᴛ ᴀᴘᴘᴏɪɴᴛᴍᴇɴᴛ: 2/25
    4.) ɢᴇɴᴅᴇʀ: 🩵
5.) ꜱʏᴍᴘᴛᴏᴍꜱ: Belly is getting huge and it is so uncomfortable and hard to breathe, decent pelvic pressure and groin pain when moving into positions or lifting leg, baby's movements can be painful at times.
6.) ᴀɴʏᴛʜɪɴɢ ᴇxᴄɪᴛɪɴɢ/ᴀɴɴᴏʏɪɴɢ: Exciting time with my toddler, keeps saying "baby is coming out soon, two weeks baby comes out! *huge smile*". Almost got everything I'd like. Just a few more things to buy later this week. Organized my toddlers room so that's ready and deep cleaned my freezer and fridge. Annoying I still haven't decided on a stroller. Also, maternity shoot was scheduled Sat. and had to cancel due to rain. Found out yesterday my mom is definitely not coming. There was a shred of hope she was, but now no. Kind of makes me sad and angry and the same time..so just processing that. I'm scared for how delivery day will look with just my husband my tot and me. Lastly, I finally got the newborn to toddler tub that fit my sink, took 3 tries but found the right one and come to find out the sling didn't come with it so another trip to the store which is very frustrating.
7.) ɢᴛᴋʏ (ꜱʜᴀʀᴇ ᴀɴʏᴛʜɪɴɢ): Wish I had a pottery wheel, would love to destress and do some fun projects.
8.) Qᴜᴇꜱᴛɪᴏɴꜱ: What's better to bring to the hospital, a duffle type bag or is a suitcase better? I'm debating on a suitcase for the benefit of rolling it in and out of hospital with supplies at the end too.

    2.) ᴅᴜᴇ ᴅᴀᴛᴇ (ᴡᴇᴇᴋꜱ+ᴅᴀʏꜱ): 35+1; CS scheduled 3/25

    3.) ɴᴇxᴛ ᴀᴘᴘᴏɪɴᴛᴍᴇɴᴛ: Next week

    4.) ɢᴇɴᴅᴇʀ: Boy

5.) ꜱʏᴍᴘᴛᴏᴍꜱ: Trouble sleeping, increased pelvic discomfort, BH.

6.) ᴀɴʏᴛʜɪɴɢ ᴇxᴄɪᴛɪɴɢ/ᴀɴɴᴏʏɪɴɢ: Last time I gave birth at 35+6 so I feel very strange about having a hospital bag packed this time around (last time I was planning on packing my bag the day I ended up delivering). If I can make to next Sunday, iI will cross the threshold into the most pregnant I have ever been. Looking ahead at this week feels quite surreal, as does planning to celebrate my MIL's birthday in a couple weeks.

7.) ɢᴛᴋʏ (ꜱʜᴀʀᴇ ᴀɴʏᴛʜɪɴɢ): One of DH's step sisters announced her pregnancy at family dinner on Friday which is we are all thrilled about. She and her hubby had struggles with fertility and pregnancy loss so being able to celebrate she entered her 2nd trimester was very exciting!!

8.) Qᴜᴇꜱᴛɪᴏɴꜱ: How do you try to stay sane while in the limbo waiting period? I feel like I am just trying to put one foot in front of the other and double down on anything I have left I want to accomplish before baby boy is here.

@blossomingmama Personally, I just packed a backpack. I didn't want to bring very much and the recovery rooms at my hospital can feel quite cramped rather quickly so I didn't like the idea of bringing a rolling suitcase. The supplies I snagged from the hospital all fit in my backpack or in the little plastic hospital tub which I was fine having loose in the car for the drive home.

Also, so sorry your mom can't make it to help out! That sounds like a lot to process as you're trying to navigate logistics and the emotions of it all.
  • 1.) ʙᴀʙʏ ɴᴜᴍʙᴇʀ: 4

    2.) ᴅᴜᴇ ᴅᴀᴛᴇ (ᴡᴇᴇᴋꜱ+ᴅᴀʏꜱ): 37ish weeks

    3.) ɴᴇxᴛ ᴀᴘᴘᴏɪɴᴛᴍᴇɴᴛ: March 5

    4.) ɢᴇɴᴅᴇʀ: girl

5.) ꜱʏᴍᴘᴛᴏᴍꜱ: Insomnia, terrible HB and associated nausea, I can barely walk for 5-10 minutes without intense pelvic pressure and belly tightness. Way different than my other pregnancies, I think my body is just over it.

6.) ᴀɴʏᴛʜɪɴɢ ᴇxᴄɪᴛɪɴɢ/ᴀɴɴᴏʏɪɴɢ: officially in "baby watch" mode. Our last items arrived Saturday and I prepared all of my postpartum care things! Now it's just a matter of getting/keeping our house clean with 3 kids and waiting on her to make her appearance. The annoying part though is that my midwife is out of town until Friday/Saturday. She has a back up midwife I will call in case anything happens before then, but my husband really wants it to be our midwife, so he doesn't want baby here a moment sooner than Sunday. Easy for him to say when he's not the pregnant one.

    7.) ɢᴛᴋʏ (ꜱʜᴀʀᴇ ᴀɴʏᴛʜɪɴɢ):

8.) Qᴜᴇꜱᴛɪᴏɴꜱ: @midnightatsunset I think this truly is so individual unfortunately. I was totally content at the end of some pregnancies and out of my mind with others! Right now focusing on the tasks that I want done before she arrives is definitely helpful, then I'm going to try (🤞) to just enjoy our last nights of just me and DH in the evenings/getting to lay with our big kids at bedtime.
  • @blossomingmama I'm so sorry to hear your mom won't be able to make it 🥺 that sounds so stressful, definitely take your time processing. I'll be thinking of you that it all goes smoothly
  • 1.) ʙᴀʙʏ ɴᴜᴍʙᴇʀ: 2

    2.) ᴅᴜᴇ ᴅᴀᴛᴇ (ᴡᴇᴇᴋꜱ+ᴅᴀʏꜱ): 37w today / March 16

3.) ɴᴇxᴛ ᴀᴘᴘᴏɪɴᴛᴍᴇɴᴛ: was supposed to be tomorrow but now IDK (see under “annoying”)

    4.) ɢᴇɴᴅᴇʀ: girl

5.) ꜱʏᴍᴘᴛᴏᴍꜱ: non stop BH, heartburn, pelvic pressure, all the things

6.) ᴀɴʏᴛʜɪɴɢ ᴇxᴄɪᴛɪɴɢ/ᴀɴɴᴏʏɪɴɢ: was supposed to start my weekly BPPs/NSTs this week. We had a huge blizzard over the weekend and I missed a call from the sonogram office that they need to reschedule me tomorrow due to their office opening later. I left a message -
no one has called me back. I tried calling my OB office too as the new scan timing affects my NST appointment but their office is closed too. So now I don’t know what what’s going on with my appointments.

    7.) ɢᴛᴋʏ (ꜱʜᴀʀᴇ ᴀɴʏᴛʜɪɴɢ):

    8.) Qᴜᴇꜱᴛɪᴏɴꜱ: NATM
  • 1.) ʙᴀʙʏ ɴᴜᴍʙᴇʀ: 4

    2.) ᴅᴜᴇ ᴅᴀᴛᴇ (ᴡᴇᴇᴋꜱ+ᴅᴀʏꜱ): 35 + 2

3.) ɴᴇxᴛ ᴀᴘᴘᴏɪɴᴛᴍᴇɴᴛ: tomorrow check up

    4.) ɢᴇɴᴅᴇʀ: girl

5.) ꜱʏᴍᴘᴛᴏᴍꜱ: not very comfortable, randomly almost threw up a couple times from bending over?

6.) ᴀɴʏᴛʜɪɴɢ ᴇxᴄɪᴛɪɴɢ/ᴀɴɴᴏʏɪɴɢ: Had my baby shower yesterday at a tea place and it was really nice!

7.) ɢᴛᴋʏ (ꜱʜᴀʀᴇ ᴀɴʏᴛʜɪɴɢ): I have had three ultrasounds so far and am getting another one coming up, they found the baby's stomach looks enlarged and think it could be a sign of a blockage or something so they are monitoring the situation. Hopefully it amounts to nothing but if it is an issue the baby could need surgery pretty early on, which would really be awful to go through.

8.) Qᴜᴇꜱᴛɪᴏɴꜱ: I'm too busy to have trouble waiting for the baby to come. I'm planning to bring a rolling bag to the hospital since I think it would be easier to get stuff out of than a duffle bag.

  • 1.) ʙᴀʙʏ ɴᴜᴍʙᴇʀ: 8

    2.) ᴅᴜᴇ ᴅᴀᴛᴇ (ᴡᴇᴇᴋꜱ+ᴅᴀʏꜱ): 3/25; 35+5

3.) ɴᴇxᴛ ᴀᴘᴘᴏɪɴᴛᴍᴇɴᴛ: first week of March

    4.) ɢᴇɴᴅᴇʀ: boy

5.) ꜱʏᴍᴘᴛᴏᴍꜱ: lots of contractions, heart burn, exhaustion, irritability. Contractions got intense yesterday. They were coming all day long and actually hurt down low where you would have a C-section scar (I don’t have a C-section scar so it’s not from a scar stretching). I’m hoping my cervix is opening up.

6.) ᴀɴʏᴛʜɪɴɢ ᴇxᴄɪᴛɪɴɢ/ᴀɴɴᴏʏɪɴɢ: I’m dog sitting for a friend and I could keep this dog for eternity. He is so sweet. I have had to take him on walks though so glad there hasn’t been a melt recently.

7.) ɢᴛᴋʏ (ꜱʜᴀʀᴇ ᴀɴʏᴛʜɪɴɢ): we transitioned our last baby to sharing a room with his big brother. It’s gone so smooth. The ease of it has been a relief because we were dreading it. I need to get their room organized because we are switching out their dresser.

I have been hardcore nesting. I moved furniture last Saturday and replaced our living room rug. I bought last minute PP supplies and got everything lined up for maximum comfort and healing. We haven’t built the cradle but DH can easily do that after the baby is born.

8.) Qᴜᴇꜱᴛɪᴏɴꜱ: I use a duffle bag. I don’t bring a ton of stuff. Just clothes to wear home and toiletries and chargers. I do pack a diaper bag for the baby with essentials I will want while I’m there. I plan to keep the baby naked for nonstop skin to skin. So just a going home outfit for him.
  • @lizdiane456oh my goodness congrats! Sorry the circumstances are because baby isn’t growing as much as expected. Praying you have a smooth delivery(and easy recovery!), baby girl is well, and that your toddler copes well with you being in the hospital.
  • I’m finally back- I cannot get into here using my app, I have to go into the web page. It keeps coming up saying it’s using a web service to verify I’m not a bot. I sat here thinking well I guess I’ll never get back in on this app and all my internet friends are gone LOL. Where are we posting birth stories? Make my own thread or is there somewhere It is all one thing?
  • @lizdiane456 thinking of you!! Hope everything goes smoothly!
  • @lizdiane456 Hope the C-section goes smoothly and recovery!
    @robinj716 There's a "Birth Stories" thread!
  • Are we going to start a facebook group for the more active members? All my other groups did that and I still talk to my group from ten years ago!
  • I say this more of a suggestion than to demand the group go a certain way :) I personally am not on FB but I do Discord and that can be a nice way to stay in touch, too! Of course, if more active members prefer FB and want to go that way I won't be offended just because I am not on FB :)
  • I think we should do What’s app instead of FB. It is private and very much similar to the bump where we can have different chats for different topics that are just continuous.
  • Happy to join a group! I’m on FB but would do whatever.
  • I’m also on FB, but not discord or whatsapp, but open to learning. I guess we could make a FB group for those who wanted it? I def. don’t have time to be in charge of it though, so really up for anything. I’m in my September 2020 FB group and we still interact which is nice.
  • I have found that FB eventually doesn’t show me new posts in groups. One of my old BMBs lost contact because of that. Which is why I prefer a different app.

If everyone is open to using a different app it would be nice to carry over all of our active members. I can look into creating it if everyone is on board. Probably need to move this to a new thread so everyone knows what’s going on.
  • Woke up so exhausted even though I got some
decent sleep. 😫Then began having intermittent contractions. It feels like I'm right around the corner but it's a first for me because I was induced with my first. One of those days where I'm just a couch potato today I guess. Feeling so drained.

I'm interested in what's app. I agree that sometimes FB doesn't always give notifications or come up on the feed appropriately all the time. I experienced that with another group. I can go either way though even discord.
  • @blossomingmama I had uncomfortable contractions the other day that were coming all day long. Never got super regular but they were coming every 20 minutes at different points throughout the day. I fell on a trail while babywearing my toddler this past Tuesday and the force jostled baby deeper into my pelvis. I have felt really heavy sensations in my pelvis, like a bowling ball, ever since.
  • @robinj716 so glad your son is doing ok in the NICU! is he on a feeding tube or is he able to take a bottle? And WAY TO GO on pumping milk for him!!

my son was on a feeding tube for a couple days until he was off oxygen and they had an occupational therapist help him (and us) to bottle feed him and they let me have attempts to breastfeed him. His being able to eat was our main benchmark to bring him home.

I wish you the best in figuring out the best method of feeding once he gets home. I personally mostly breastfed but I was strongly encouraged to pump to keep my supply up so we were on the quite journey to figure out how to make breastfeeding and pumping work. I ended up pumping for one feeding so he could take a bottle and then supplementally pumping after some other nursing sessions.

@emeraldcity603 oh my goodness baby wearing and on a trail, go you. I'm so sorry to read you fell, and the pain you're experiencing. I've been feeling this bowling ball pressure too, just utterly uncomfortable and exhausted. Take it easy the next couple days if you can. Hope you get some relief.

@robinj716 Congratulations your little Eli is off O2! Woot woot. Glad to hear he's doing alright aside from these bradycardia events. Also, congratulations on your pumping success and milk coming in so you can bottle feed! I bet that feels so good and makes you very happy. When I pumped and BF usually I pumped after breastfeeding sessions (if my newborn didn't feed from other side), during naps, or when engorged. It's completely up to you if you want to try latching, it would be such a great bonding experience for you both but I understand if you would choose not to with work coming up soon and the timeline and the possibility of him not wanting the bottle after (think that's very unlikely). It's completely a personal choice. Do what's right for you. But yay! BM!

@lizdiane465 Congratulations on your little one! I'm so sorry to read about the pneumothorax, and infection. I can only imagine how tough the news was to receive. I hope baby girl turns a new leaf and is heading to recovery quickly. Keep staying positive and hope you get to hold her for longer soon.

Both you ladies are so strong with your new babies in NICU. 💞
  • @lizdiane456 congrats on meeting your sweet little girl! I’m so sorry she had to be admitted to NICU and you can’t hold her as much as you would like. Praying for you both and pumping is successful for you!
  • @blossomingmama That trail was nothing but ice beneath the snow and we were going down hill. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Luckily the fall wasn’t too bad. It was on a hill though and the last time I fell on a hill of ice I broke my wrist. So I was a bit shaken up by it. I saw myself in a mirror at my kid’s gym last night and noticed my belly is much lower. So baby has definitely dropped. I ended up carrying my toddler back up the hills and to the car after falling. At this point, I think the baby is big enough to be just fine even if I went into labor. 😜 I did second guess my decision to not go into labor and delivery to be checked but he was moving fine and I didn’t have bleeding. Plus, technically I was being watched by a doctor (DH) at home.

@lizdiane456 I will be praying she makes a quick recovery. I’m sorry you weren’t able to hold her for long.
  • @emeraldcity603 oh geeze every extra detail makes everything seem so much more intense! I can barely hold my toddler for more than ten minutes at a time much less hike and fall and carry them even more! 🫣 I’m glad you’re ok!
  • @midnightatsunset right!! What a trooper. I caught myself earlier this pregnancy from falling with my toddler in hand and had so much groin/pelvic pain after that lasted a week at least. Can't even imagine going on a trail in the snow baby wearing right now! @emeraldcity603 your fall reminded me of when I came off a ski lift in Vermont with my snowboard and it was all ice I busted my butt so bad had to ride that thing back down. I feel the same way with if baby comes now I think he'll be alright. God will let us know of his divine timing though! Glad you're alright with no s/s and husband can monitor you.
