Symptoms thread!

Hi all! Some or most of us might be experiencing symptoms by now. I thought I’d make a space for all of us to symptom log.

gestation: 5 weeks on the dot

symptoms?: cramping, nausea has started to kick in a tiny bit, exhaustion, light breast tenderness, and feeling overall disgusting in the morning (like I need to shower).

Re: Symptoms thread!

  • 3w 4d, I’ve got some cramping and I’m exhausted but that’s it for now. I’m expecting another HG pregnancy but I’m praying it’s not lol so I’m enjoying food while I can still keep it down😅

  • Nausea hit this week (5 weeks), but it’s not awful yet. Sore breasts, plenty of energy.
  • 6 weeks, I just found some burst blood vessels on my boobs, that was unexpected LOL. Otherwise some nausea, tired, and a raging bitch 😂.
  • 7 weeks today and nausea is hitting harder every day… I’m also EXHAUSTED, I have been sleeping 9 sometimes 10 hours at night and then still needing a little nap during the day. Definitely very different then my first pregnancy lol but we are surviving!
  • Gah I’m jealous of everyone that can sleep through the night.  My cortisol levels seem to rise at night so I haven’t had a solid 9 hours since becoming pregnant.
  • 8 weeks 6 days. Extreme fatigue! Physically not as much as mentally. Mood swings I have no interest in things I usually enjoy lol so irritable! And my boobs are huge and SO sore. I had bad morning sickness with my first pregnancy 11 years ago but not too much nausea so far this time. Hoping that doesn’t change but who knows what will happen. Definitely is a whole different ball game being pregnant at 34 vs 22.
  • lol I understand. I had my first at 22 as well and now I’m 31.
  • Ok so we are definitely in similar situations! Yeah it feels like a completely different experience lol I had no idea. But I mean it does make sense haha
  • I’m 7 weeks as of tomorrow and I’ve been level 10 nauseous but the only time I’ve thrown up was yesterday. I’m pretty much laying down all day and doing house chores when I feel a little better. I’m so frustrated with how sick I feel lol I cry a couple times a day. The worst part is that I had to do IVF in order to become pregnant so I have to take progesterone shots daily and they make me feel so much worse. Still so grateful! I’m 29 and have been trying to get pregnant since 24.
  • We did IUI and I had to do progesterone (suppositories). I stopped them recently after I got the OK from our REI and I can’t tell if I feel better because of that or just because I’m finishing up the first trimester. I was sleeping SO much and felt so groggy all the time. I still am pretty fatigued but I definitely notice a difference.
  • I feel like I stink. I shower every day/normal routine but idk I feel yucky
  • Oh my gosh congratulations I am sooo happy you were able to get pregnant! I know it’s such a catch 22 feeling so crappy but also feeling so blessed and in such gratitude to be pregnant. I’m really looking forward to the energy surge that will come in the second tri
  • OMG THIS ME TOO. I sweat so much at night and I feel like I can smell myself like do I always smell like this and my nose is just more sensitive? My man insists I still smell good but I don’t believe him I’m so grossed out by just my own smell lol
