Team Green/Pink/Blue/Finding Out: team blue 💙

Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: weighs as much as a honeydew melon 😋

Upcoming appointments: not until March 6th. Went into the lab last week for some repeat blood work and to take my glucose test

How are you feeling?: feeling good! BF got me a belly band and that has really helped so much with the pelvic pain I was having. I used to get major pain right in the pubic bone every time I stood up from sitting or getting out of bed. It would go away as I'd walk but it's so nice not to feel a huge major ache so often

Rants/Raves: BF also bought one of those inflatables with the hole for the bump so I can lay on my stomach properly for massages. I also have a prenatal massage scheduled for Tuesday so I'm excited to see how that eases all my pelvic pains!

Questions: just curious, how far are you all from the hospitals you where you will deliver? We're moving to a house from an apartment this weekend and will now be a good 30 minutes away instead of 10.

GTKY: What is your favorite Valentine's Day candy?
I have to buy myself at least 1 box of conversation hearts every Valentine's season. Even though they are almost always super hard to eat and nearly break my teeth 😅

Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: A piece of rhubarb... sure 😂

Upcoming appointments: had a 28W ultrasound today, everything is looking good.

How are you feeling?: Still feeling good, but definitely more physically uncomfortable just from size. Definitely getting harder to move!

Rants/Raves: nothing I can think of at the moment.

Questions: Anyone dealing with hemorrhoids? Not sure if I actually have them because no pain but seeing a bit of blood.

@inthewoods23 I'm about 20 mins from my hospital.

GTKY: What is your favorite Valentine's Day candy? Any gummies are my jam.

Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: as long as rhubarb

    Upcoming appointments: Feb 18th midwife

How are you feeling?: Tired, oh so tired. And big.

Rants/Raves: Rave: My husband is finally helping out more with our first. Rant: It's my busiest season at work (end of fiscal year) and I have no brain.

Questions: How is everyone? Generally? It's so quiet in here. I have to admit I barely remember to check the BMB most days. Anyone want to switch to Facebook?

@ellie_asaurus My hemorrhoids are back but I have more internal fissure that are worse with pregnancy. I didn't have pain with my hemorrhoids but I definitely could feel them poking out when I was in the shower. I suggest start taking fibre to stay regular and help with the bleeding.

@inthewoods23 I'm about a 10-15 min drive away. It'd take more time for MH to find parking!

GTKY: What is your favorite Valentine candy? Chocolate. I mostly want ice cream but anything chocolate will do!

If you want to get deeper with GTKY this week: What's a way you can show yourself love this Valentine's Day? Sleep, have a bath, shave my legs, relax, stop thinking, start stretching, cut my toenails while I still can!!! All the things I can't do easily with a clingy toddler.

  • Estimated Due Date/Weeks + Days: May 3rd / 28 weeks 5 days

Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: length of rhubarb week

Upcoming appointments: went on 2/9, next appointment in a month

How are you feeling?: honestly pretty ok! Some pelvic pain, seeing a PT about it

Rants/Raves: got some cheap maternity t shirts just in time to really need them, excited to start wearing my leggings and dresses more too. I love showing off the bump 🤗

    Questions: none

GTKY: What is your favorite Valentine's Day candy? Dark chocolate anything! Not great for my heartburn unfortunately.

If you want to get deeper with GTKY this week: What's a way you can show yourself love this Valentine's Day? Sleep. We’ve had family health issues and I haven’t slept much. Looking forward to catching up some sleep this long weekend.

Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: Rhubarb?

Upcoming appointments: Just had one that went pretty well. Passed my glucose test but found I'm a little anemic. I've been taking Tums every day and we're thinking that may be blocking my iron absorption a little. Switching to something new now.

How are you feeling?: Tired, maybe partly bc of the low iron. Starting to feel big and a little cumbersome lol.

Rants/Raves: Rave: Spouse has been really sweet and helpful lately. Rant: The pregnancy brain has been rough this week. So many dumb mistakes. 🤷

    Questions: None

GTKY: What is your favorite Valentine's Day candy? I like chocolate more generally but I'm a sucker and get some candy hearts every year. They've been great for bribing my toddler too. 😂

If you want to get deeper with GTKY this week: What's a way you can show yourself love this Valentine's Day? A long hot shower. As @travellingjess said, that's hard to do with a toddler!
