35, 9 weeks pregnant with twins but lost one at 8 weeks

During my first ultrasound last week I found out I was pregnant with twins, but one twin was smaller and did not have a heartbeat. The doctor said I technically miscarried but the other twin seems fine and did have a heartbeat. I am very worried now about my remaining baby. Anyone have any success stories of this while also still being high risk due to age??

    The fact that your remaining baby has a heartbeat is a positive sign, and that's an encouraging thing. However, I understand that the emotional rollercoaster of dealing with this can be hard, especially when you're high risk due to age. It's important to follow your doctor's advice and go to regular checkups to monitor the health of the remaining baby.
