hi mamas! hope you all had a good week!
we had a snow day last week and it made the weekend longer (did I tell y'all this? lol I don't remember)
my major win of the week is getting my 19m old to interact with Charlotte. he was noncommittal until now, but he'll give her kisses or blow kisses at her, and will try to put her pacifier in her mouth for her when she's crying, which is very sweet.
we're hoping to send the boys to my mom's tmw when the oldest is home from school so we can have a day to catch up on cleaning, laundry, taking down Christmas, etc. that will be next week's win if it happens lol
Re: 4th trimester check-in 1/18
We finally got our tree down this week (actually that was all DH🤣) but I still have to actually get the ornaments put back up in the closet.
My 6week pp check up is tomorrow and I am not in any way ready to go back to work.

We went to the dr today for a weight check and she’s gaining but not the amount the dr is happy about. The dr got distracted bc we also
have a cough and are raspy.
no temp, took a Swab and tested for covid, flu, rsv…..negative, got an xray and that was clear. So I don’t know. I’ll hear back from the dr tomorrow.
have a good weekend ladies!
I thought I lost contact with you ladies!
Hope everyone is doing well and had healthy babies!
I had a baby girl (was team green) on Dec 3rd via section due to sudden onset preeclampsia.
We are snowed in given the snow storm over the weekend and just went to the Ped for vaccines so we can travel to see the grand parents since both sets are several miles away.
Learning alot as a FTM and decided to join a local FB mom group to get advice.
What were some things you found helpful when navigating a newborn when you were a FTM?
So happy to connect with you ladies again!
as a first time mom was the breastfeeding support group at the hospital that meets weekly. I still go after every baby! Even if I weren’t breastfeeding I would take advantage bc it is so helpful to get out and just talk to other moms. Also my bump community helped as a lot of us were FTM and we were all experiencing this new journey together and could chat and relate to each other. I didn’t find this until my second but as a nursing mom, latched mama nursing clothes are a life saver and so worth it.
