Introduce yourself: My name is Bekah and I am 32

     Due date: September 12

How you found out: I was out of town with my family for Christmas and was not planning on testing until I got home. However, I was not feeling any PMS symptoms, which is really abnormal for me. I decided to test the morning before we left on an early flight and it was very positive.

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I have been with my husband for almost 14 years and married for 8 years. We have a 19 month old son and a 8 year old dog. I enjoy reading, cooking, and recently started doing sourdough (I know I am 6 years too late but I am really liking it!)
**Trigger warning: Before having my son, I had 3 miscarriages (including 2 D&Cs). I went in for bloodwork and found a few things that maybe contributes to miscarriages but nothing for sure. I did some other tests and the Drs suspected uterine scarring from my surgeries. I had to have 2 hysteroscopies and my uterus never was 100% clear. But we decided to start taking some medications and trying again. We got pregnant with my son, which honestly felt like a miracle. He is just the absolute best and we debated if we should try again. We decide to try because we would regret it if we didn’t at least try. I had another hysteroscopy in September of this year and starting trying for baby #2. I am really nervous about this pregnancy but trying to be hopeful.

How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)?: not a ton of symptoms yet. I am feeling a little more tired than normal

    Hi!

I'm Jessie. 30 year old Canadian.

I found out when my period was a couple days late (not unusual for me. Been dealing with infertility for over a year, suspected endometriosis + partial septate uterus). I am on the waitlist for surgery to remove the septum and check for endo. I was told I'd likely get the surgery in February but then 3 days before Christmas I decided to take a test and finally got my first ever positive!

I knew my husband (Tom) would be home an hour later so I scrambled to run to the store for a gift (a book called "You're My Little Baby), wrapped it and told him Santa came early and left something for him.

We know that I will be a higher risk pregnancy due to the untreated issues, but it's totally possible to carry to term and do a natural birth, I do just have a higher than average risk of complications.

Due September 1st (5 days before my husband's birthday). Have my first prenatal appointment this coming Monday.

We got married in 2024 (also in September!) and have 3 cats, Cleo, Alastor, and Niffty.

Tom is an architectural designer, I work in advertising. We are artsy/geeks between his love for anime, Pokemon and video games, and my love for books, musical theatre, and dungeons and dragons.

Feeling very scared/overwhelmed. But my best friend who lives a few blocks away just had a baby 6 months ago and has already been a wealth of support and knowledge. Only symptom so far is tender breasts.
  • Hi,
Not quite sure of due date- never can remember first day of period. Due either 1st 4th or 9th of Sept.

Found out bc I felt super bloated and then realized my period was way late. Took test nye and the lines showed up quick and dark!

Surprise bc I turn 46 in Feb.
    I have a 14 and a 13 yr old.

My chances of getting pregnant are about 1% and then miscarriage is about 80% likely.

I had a miscarriage when I was 24 but I enjoyed every minute of those 3 months.

So I’m going to enjoy every minute of this, no matter how long I have this baby.

    Hugs everyone.

Symptoms mainly bloating and tiredness. A food aversion to fried chicken already.
  • Hello everyone and congratulations:) I am 35 years old. My husband and I have two children already, 10 and 5 years old. We have been going back and forth on trying for one more and finally decided to go for it a couple months ago. We were pleasantly surprised how quickly we got a positive test. I have been tracking my menstrual cycle including ovulation and based on timing of everything and date when our test was a clear positive it’s looking like my due date is September 8th/9th.

Before going out and celebrating Christmas Eve I thought it would be a good idea to test considering my period was expected 3 days later and we got a very faint positive result. I waited two days to test again and that’s when our test was very clear. We were both very excited, however TRIGGER WARNING due to me experiencing a miscarriage once before, about 7 years ago, we will likely wait until baby is a little further along to tell our children and family.

I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and my husband is a Barber and Barbershop owner. We both are pretty busy most days but we do enjoy going on family outings with our kids on the weekends and exercising. Recently I have been really drawn to exploring different recipes, mostly dinners or baked goods, online.

As far as symptoms go, I have been feeling very bloated since just before a started testing, some mild cramping here and there and have noticed fatigue will hit me at random times of the day.
  • Hello :-)

My name is Christine, I'm 34. I've got 4 living children and had 2 losses in the past, so hopefully this will be my 5th earth-side baby ❤️

We've been ttc since May and found out with a super faint line on December 22nd. My
    EDD is September 1st.

So far feeling very tired, smelling extra sensitive, bit of mild "cramping," but very excited
  • Hi all, thank you for having me here.  I’m Polly and I am in Scotland.  I’m 42 , my partner Barry is 40 and between us we hve 4 children.  My two are older kids 18 and 16 plus two step children 20 and 11.  We also have a gorgeous Cockapoo Freddie who has just turned 2

me and my partner have been trying for 5 years to have a baby, just never using protection throughout our relationship.  We got pregnant twice and both times lost the baby days after finding out.  This year we are planning to get married in April and looking forward to meeting our little miracle in September (possibly August as I’ll need a C-section due to previously having one with my daughter)<div>
</div><div>I recently found out I was pregnant when I was 5 days late, them lines came up so dark and so fast before the line for the test to say it worked did.  I’m hopeful this means we will get past 5 weeks as the other tests did not come up this quickly or so dark.

right now I’ve been feeling very nauseous, tired and tender breasts, a bit of cramping but I think that’s the ligaments moving and stretching.</div>
  • hi everyone!!

Introduce yourself: my name is Gabby.

    Due date: EDD 9/4/26

How you found out: I just knew I was, I could tell by the cramping I had. It felt very similar to the first time I was pregnant with my daughter. I didn’t want to eat many foods and I decided to take a test a few days after Christmas and it was so light that it was “line eyes” but I knew so I kept testing everyday and saw the progression (I stopped after about 4 days)

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
I have a husband, we have been together 10 years. An 11 year old step son, and 2 and half year old girl. I work full time as a nurse educator but also homeschool my oldest. I like to read, do arts and crafts, make tee shirts, and doing outside!

How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I feel very happy, nervous for the first appointment but putting my trust in God. I also am feeling mom guilt for my other children but know that’s just my emotions. So yes, very emotional some days and slightly nauseous with some cramping and breast soreness but that’s it.

    Congrats to everyone!! ❤️
  • Hi all!

My name is Sarah and it looks like I’m due towards the 15-20th of September!

On a side note, Bekah you were in a previous group with me for your son, I was surprised when playing with the app and saw your username and photo and distinctly remembering you as your username is very close to my username for many things as my last name starts “Ba”! So happy to hear your news and it seems so neat we are both pregnant at the same time again!

I found out via a test this week. My husband and I are certainly interested in more children but hadn’t started to try. We had a lapse in judgement followed by a realization it was my predicted fertile window. Two weeks later I decided to test as I have a drinks and hot tub (ironic) date with some of my girlfriends this weekend. Looks like I’ll be chatting from outside the hot tub 🤣. Weird to know so early in the pregnancy.

I have a 18 month old daughter who we love so very much and have had so much fun with this year in all her toddlerhood delight! We also have a corgi named Carlos “caca” per my daughter, and a kitty.

I have had a loss prior to my daughter and struggled to conceive my daughter so this is a surprise. I had a lot of anxiety with my daughter during pregnancy due to prior loss. I’m feeling less anxious this time but the worry is certainly there. Trying to stay busy and know that what is meant to be will be. So much love and strength to all here that know this feeling 💕

Otherwise we are very much excited and thankful for this unexpected blessing. I’ve felt bloated and incredibly tired I forgot how quickly the exhaustion sets in and even more so with a toddler to chase around. Congratulations everyone!

Nice to meet you all! I am 33 years old, based in England.

    Due date: 23 September

How you found out: We've been ttc, second month trying since our molar pregnancy D&C/ miscarriage in the summer. I had some symptoms and tested a bit early and have a light positive line.

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I have lovely 9 year old twin daughters, a husband, a dog and a hamster. This will be my third, and most likely final child, and my husband's first.

How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Trying to stay hopeful that this one sticks, as I have a history of early first trimester losses. I have some light cramping/stretchy feeling in my uterus, and sore breasts. I have struggled with sleep and quite bad anxiety for about a week which isn't very typical for me, so I wonder now if that's hormone related.

  • Gabby the mum guilt for other children is real! I am feeling so guilty for my 9 year old twins, as they aren't very baby oriented at all, and also they just found out last week that their stepmum and dad are expecting a baby in August. It's not ideal timing that we're both having babies at the same time, and I do worry about the adjustment for them. I was half minded to stop trying when they told us their pregnancy news on 2 January, but obviously it was already too late by then, little did I know! I'm sure all our children will adjust though, and once they have their new little brother or sister they won't be able to imagine the family without them.

  • My name is Emily and I’m 40.

I just took the positive test this morning, but I was pretty sure for the past few days. I already had sore boobs, exhaustion, and major bloat.

    EDD is Sept 11

We have 4 kids already: boy 12, girl 9, girl 7, and boy just turned 4 this past week. We haven’t told the kiddos yet, but I know they will be very excited. I work as an insurance adjuster and I also teach dance. Luckily it’s winter or this bloat would be very hard to cover up…. It’s like my body just automatically went back to pregnant belly shape, lol.

@sjbee12 yes I remember you too, that is crazy! Glad to be in the same group again! I am nervous any how my 19 month old will react to the new baby so glad to have someone with a similar aged toddler to talk about this!
  • Hi! My name is Natalie.

    EDD: September 20

I work part-time and the rest of the time I’m at home with my first born who is a couple weeks shy of 12 months! I love anything creative like painting, crocheting, and I recently got a sewing machine(that I have yet to turn on). My favorite activity lately is going for walks and on adventures with my little family.

I found out last Saturday. I had been keeping track on my cycle and guessed that based on some cramping I had and intense fatigue that I might be pregnant. Initially, there was an almost invisible line. I just retested today and it was strong and positive! Other than fatigue I have been having some vivid dreams and strong mood swings related to feeling mom guilt.
