@blossomingmama Look into Billy sneakers - they're really adaptive shoes made for people with disabilities (I wear a leg brace so I swear by them) but the shoes are super easy to get on, with zippers on the side. Also helpful for when your feet swell!
@emeraldcity603 Sorry to hear you didn't pass the 1-hour, hopefully the 3-hour will be fine!
@midnightatsunset @lizdiane456 hate how it goes from feeling like "plenty of time" to "I have everything to do and zero time to do it in before baby" in a split second. I pulled out all our nb and 0-3m clothes from the basement this weekend just to go through and literally panicked because we have almost nothing 😂 and I thought we would have been more or less set, even considering my other daughter was a summer baby. Wrong lol. I'm glad I didn't wait until closer to the time I plan on actually starting to wash and put things away because I would have had a meltdown.
Did you get a wildbird aerial or a ring sling? We bought an aerial for this babe too, haven't tried it before but wore a loooot of WB ring slings with DS1+2. I also sold my Happy Baby carriers earlier this year and plan to buy a replacement. We keep tons of carriers around because I like different ones for different things, and DH also baby wears a lot and we both hate having to resize the carrier straps every time the other uses one haha. We currently have a WB ring sling and aerial, a Malamabèbe ssc, and a few solly wraps on their way in the mail. We'll buy an HBC and maybe snag another ring sling to round out our stash. Agree you need all hands available once you have more babies than hands! DS2 (5.5) has always been our flight risk but he's better about it now. DD (2) however is a 10000% wild card at all times, so she also requires hands. The 9yo is fine 😂 though occasionally oblivious.
@midnightatsunset thank you! I know, I'm so grateful for how it turned out. I was sick to my stomach all last night and this morning about it.
