A nasty bug has hit us. All 9 of us at once... π« π«
Glory to God I managed to not get the high fever part, but man its been a rough week.Β
Also my husband is on his last traveling job until baby comes. I'm 37wks tomorrow.Β He has 5 more days until he's home. I have been absolutely convinced that this baby is going to be a due date baby or close, now that my husband is away I am terrified this baby is going to come early, especially under the stress of us being sick. He has traveled for work with every single kid and we've had some super close near missing the birth a few times. Watch it be this one that he actually misses.. π«

@nopegoat omgβ¦ sick at 37 weeks, husband traveling, and allllll the kids sick?? Girl. That is a lot to deal with. Also will pray that baby girl stays put till you feel better and your husband is back.Β
And thanks for asking - we are good. So far this PP has been the easiest. Partly bc I know what to expect and partly bc I prepare for the worst. But things that were excruciating the last two times PP (like latch, night sweats, sore perineum, headaches etc) have been not so bad at all. I am taking extra good care of myself. I have only left the house once in a week and it was for Georgeβs ped appt. I am doing the 5-5-5 days by the bed and itβs making a world of difference in my mental and physical health.Β
@thatbaintforbetty so sorry about the lice! I swear another thing that can easily spread in the schools Such a pain. I have heard of moms using some spray or shampoo on hair daily and it keeps the lice away. I donβt know what itβs called but they get it on Amazon.Β
@nopegoat hope you feel better soon. I have been sick on and off with whatever my kids bring home the past 2 months and it sucks! ESP when the Dr says you canβt do much to get rid of it
@brookejay06 I need to remind myself to slow down this PP journey and do the 5-5-5 ruleβ¦..I never slow down after baby and it can be rough. Β Glad to hear things are going well!Β
<div>Hi, we will soon be taking a 4hr + 2hr layover + 8hr flight. Looking for reliable toys to keep a 19month old engaged. He likes engineering tool kit type stuff, willing to consider other small toys. Iβll be carrying snacks. Any additional toddler specific travel tips are welcome.</div><div> </div>
@dogmom5 we have it! Itβs a lice repelling spray with rosemary by Fairy Tales. Although come to think of it I donβt think the girls had been using it as much as the last couple weeks before break. π€¦ββοΈΒ
@nopegoat sick and pregnant is the worst! And with everyone else to look after, makes it so much harder! I hope it passes quickly and you get some very much deserved rest before baby makes her appearance(although I know thatβs definitely easier said than done).Β

The impatience waiting for baby is real! But so excited for everyone getting to meet their LOs right now! @thatbaintforbetty we just gotta keep hanging in there π«
Thanks everyone.Β We are mostly on the mend now. Still coughing and runny noses. I have sooo much cleaning up and sanitizing to do. So much snot and ick.Β My husband hopefully will be home tomorrow night. π Then I can relax a little bit.Β
Sooo many babies being born!! π₯°π₯°
