I hope all who celebrate had a great Thanksgiving.
FTM/STM/TTM+: 6th
EDD / Weeks + Days: 7 weeks to go!!!!
Team blue/pink/green:💙
Upcoming Appointments: I have one Tuesday. I never rescheduled 🥴 life has been too hectic
How are you feeling?: the heartburn is debilitating. I have woken up basically puking for the last week! What a fun thing that is! I am caving and got some tums. My papya enzymes have done me well up until now, but I need more power and I just ran out. I am miserable. I have eaten less than usual too and I feel like he dropped this past week my boobs don't have the same tummy stand they did last week. 🤭
Rants/Raves: the feasts went well. Our last guests just left. Our friends have a bus and we set aside a day to do Christmas lights in 2 weeks. It's always so fun. I love hosting but I really love not hosting! 🤣
Questions:
GTKY:
Are you push present folks? If so what do you dream of or what is your tradition?
My husband just learned what a push present is tonight. 🤣 oh man did he get a load of crap from our friends. On our 6th and never got a push present. 3 of our friends got push presents and 2 don't partake. The 3 that partake are all different levels of gifts. One got a Dyson hair wrap product which is pricy, another gets a stackable ring for each one, and one got a car. A very expensive car. 😄
I didn't know what a push present was until our 2nd and honestly for me the baby is the gift, but I also understand the husbands wanting to get something for their wives to spoil them for their accomplishment because pregnancy is not easy. My friend who got the expensive car told her husband what one she wanted and was adamant that she get it with all the features. She also got jewelry 🤭 they are super well off and honestly she could have asked for a new house! 🤯 so the car was frugal business for them. Oh what different lives we all lead! Either way every single one of the couples love and cherish their children and eachother and that is all that matters. I am just always curious if people partake or even know what a 'push present' is and if so what they get or ask for. I mean what a weighted gift for a man to have to think of. A "you spawned my offspring" gift seems so small compared to the actual task at hand and yet is a sweet thought too. I see no wrong in either path.
My husband asked me what I wanted and I don't have any ideas! For mother's day this year I want jewelry, we are done having kids and I can finally get a complete piece. Maybe I'll steal one of your ideas for one!🤔

For inspiration, though, I did really love my Mother's Day gift when my first was a year old. I signed us up for a mini family photoshoot right after my girl turned one, and when Mother's Day rolled around, my husband and I picked one of those photos to have printed on a large canvas for over our mantle. I still love seeing it every day!!! ♥️
@marmalade0 I LOVE the canvas idea!!! I can second your excitement that we are all getting so close!!!! 🙌
