When are April 2026 mothers planning for baby moon? If you have any ideas, please share. I am thinking to go Feb long weekend to Oahu, Hawaii. Let me know if you have any ideas for Hawaii
Hawaii sounds heavenly! We're planning a visit to Florida in December, so I'll be about 23 weeks along, and I'm counting that as our "baby moon" (even though it's really just a family visit lol.) The idea of lounging in the sun with a fancy drink and fruity snacks just sounds like a real vacation though!
I went to Oahu for 5 nights and stayed at a hotel in Waikiki in November 2023. If you can, stay down by the beach, within walking distance, even a few blocks off the beach is close enough. It is really not very big. Schedule at least one nice dinner. I ate at a place outside overlooking Diamondhead, which was perfect since I never got a chance to hike it. They had amazing fish tacos. There are also fireworks that go off, I think on Friday night from the Hilton. Finding a place to be on the beach to watch is well worth it. I also loved the photo tour I went on. It was a full day with Oahu Photo Tours, but we pretty much saw the entire island- and I didn’t have to drive. There were plenty of breaks and snack stops and it’s is just a few people on the tour so if someone needed an extra stop, they just found one. Highly recommend. Lots of good food and snacks to enjoy. They have a special type of donut (it’s well known and available a couple different locations) that is super tasty!
Oahu in February sounds amazing — great weather and fewer crowds than peak season! For Hawaii, I’d suggest checking out Maui too if you want a mix of beaches and nature hikes. I usually use Kayak company to compare flights and deals; it makes planning so much easier and stress-free.
