    Timing/Testing/CS: just started trying, next week should be a more exciting CS

    How are things going? Any questions?: I assume there’s no TMI here. How do you tell the difference between CF and just leftover semen? 

    R/R: I am EXHAUSTED. I’m in the process of getting diagnosed with an autoimmune condition, lupus being the forerunner at the minute. Basically I have all these symptoms (loads of pregnancy complications, sick all the time and by that I mean every 2-6 weeks, extreme fatigue, etc) and I’ve gotten some positive blood tests. Just waiting for my appointment with the rheumatologist, it’s a long waiting list. Like I said, I’ve got all these symptoms and one of the main ones is fatigue. For the past couple of weeks I can’t stay awake for more than about 6 hours. I was off of work ill for a bit but I’m back in today and I am struggling so hard to stay awake.

    semen will dry up when exposed to air but EWCM will stay slippery. Semen won’t stretch like EWCM either. There is also a water test but I can’t remember which one dissolves and which doesn’t. It’s best to mark your chart with fertile mucus when in doubt.

    I have intentionally planned a few babies in my time and have faced this same issue each time. Charting is usually simple and clear until the moment you start TTC and then for some reason things get ambiguous and hard to interpret. When in doubt assume it’s fertile CM. That way you don’t assume your window closes and you miss out on better timing.

    @emeraldcity603 that’s exactly my dilemma! I have been chatting for YEARS and have my cycle down to a T and now suddenly we’re TTC and I can’t interpret anything 😂
