April 2026 Babies

Have you felt baby yet?

I am a first time mom…. I want to feel baby so bad. I have felt so anxious and is it just me of is there way too much time in between appointments? Haha just wondering how everyone else’s experience is going and if they are able to felt any type of movements so far?

Re: Have you felt baby yet?

  • Nope, nothing here either. Also FTM, my DR was able to do a bedside US during my 13 week check up and found I most likely have an anterior placenta so I'm not planning on feeling anything soon. I can't wait for my anatomy scan though!

  • Honestly, I’m at 19 weeks with an anterior placenta and just feeling kicks occasionally at this point. Mostly when I’m laying down, but they’re super faint. I’m looking forward to feeling them more!
  • I finally felt some kicks (that I could not disprove as gas or other twitches) this week (18w). It’s very infrequent right now but I’m with you, I’m excited to get more feedback from baby so I can chill on the anxiety. It felt kind of like when you swipe your tongue along your cheek, only not quiet because you didn’t do it- baby did.
  • Same here, 18 weeks, can feel gentle movements especially when I am laying down but nothing consistent yet.
  • I’m 18w with my third and I have an anterior placenta this time, for the first time. I’ve felt some like… movement, like a definite stretch/wiggle type sensation one time, and then like two nights ago I had a hand resting on the right side of my belly and I felt a definite kick from both the inside and the outside in the same spot, but I have felt almost nothing so far.
  • I’m 17w with my second and have been feeling pretty consistent movement this week! I had an anterior placenta with my first and didn’t feel him til like 23 weeks, so I’m shocked to be feeling it so early this time.
  • I have (and do). But this is my second baby so it happens sooner. When you do feel it, it feels like butterflies are inside or little bubbles. It'll happen soon! I've noticed after I have a meal or sugar (like juice), it makes the baby active. Eventually you'll straight up get kicks 😅
  • 18+5 and definitely feeling more today
  • same here as I haven't felt a thing. Just started 19week today. Can't wait to feel the baby
  • Looking for December updates from you all! Im feeling baby girl several times a day but a lot of flutters as I'm calling them. Not the dramatic kicking I think of when I think of moving babies lol. There are a few movements that are stronger than others though, which surprise me.
