First prenatal appointment

I'm unsure of what I should do. My family lives in the US as we've recently moved from Ontario.  Due to some border issues I'm no longer able to get back into the US until my marriage certificate comes in the mail and I can get the correct visa. I was temporarily there on a tourist visa but can't get another one.  I'm told this can take 6-8 weeks if not more. 

I'm 6w pregnant today. I'm unsure if it's worth going to a walk in clinic in Ontario to get referred to an OB for maybe 1 appointment or if I should just wait until I'm back in the US.  Do you get offered any ultrasounds before 12 weeks. In the past I've used midwives and self refered. I never got seen until 10 weeks with the first ultrasound around 12 weeks.  I'm really hoping to be back by then but it feels so long to not see a doctor.  

Looking for advice and maybe more info on how OBs work and when the first appointment usually is in Ontario?

    Update: think I've found a solution. I'm probably not getting an OB as the wait list is crazy and I'm probably not getting in before I move anyway. I did find a clinic that can get me a dating scan, blood work and the 12 week genetic test if I'm still here.
