Cerebellum measuring small - mixed ultrasound results

At our 20 week anatomy scan the doctors said my babies cerebellum was measuring 5 weeks behind and expressed that it was very concerning. We did a follow up scan at 21 weeks where 3 doctors and 1 sonographer were unable to find anything abnormal. They said her cerebellum was completely normal. We did another follow up scan at 22 weeks and the doctor said her cerebellum was measuring 3 weeks behind. Has anyone else seen mixed results from ultrasounds? Im terified and I dont understand why we arent getting consistent numbers.

    We did at our late 23 week. They kept saying the machine isn't as good as the MFM one and sent us there. They found so much more wrong there. I would stick with a MFM branch and do more US than normally prescribed. Keep in mind often times US are wrong or inaccurate. The fact that it got better is hopeful. I was so hopeful at ours, but my gut knew. The fact they aren't acting like you need to make plans for next steps and hard decisions seems hopeful to me. I really hope you keep getting better news than the initial one. Stressing will only make things worse, which obviously you're going to be stressing, so just keep that in mind. I'll be praying for you and your family and for the best outcome. If you do end up getting bad news, please utilize online groups of moms that have been through similar. It was so helpful for me on my grief journey. Most people thankfully don't know that experience, but because of it they don't know what to say or how to act. They can't relate to the grief.
