Nausea - what are y'all eating?

I'm 8 weeks 4 days and nausea has been TOUGH. I feel like all veggies are a no go, which is unfortunate. Luckily, fresh fruit has been my #1 go to so I feel like hopefully that gives good balance? Other than that, butter toast, occasional peanut butter, and noodles have been diet staples. 😩 I also just started taking Stomach Settle lozenges, they are helping a little. What are you all having luck with? Hang in there!

Re: Nausea - what are y'all eating?

  • I've had luck adding 100mg B6! Still vomiting on occasion but I feel more normal for most of the day now that I take it. Anytime I'm not feeling great but know I need to eat something I end up having a plain noodle soup. But then I end up feeling hungrier sooner and that makes me feel nauseous. It's hard determining if my stomach pains are nausea queasiness or hunger pains!

  • It's so difficult, my food aversions keep switching. Everything bagels with a fried egg, chicken noodle soup and Vietnamese spring rolls with peanut sauce are the somewhat balanced things that have kept me going this last week!
I find tums, gravel ginger lozenges and a lemon/ginger tea help settle my stomach too.
  • I tolerate watermelon, goldfish, yogurt, toasted bagels and cream cheese, and apples. I also do half a unisom tablet + B6 at night and it truly works wonders.
  • This is so tough. I started with peppermint tea but now that just reminds me of being nauseous.
It's also Thanksgiving weekend in Canada... tell me how I'm going to get through this without spilling to family...

Currently, grapes and toast with butter are my go-to's. 8w2d!

Vietnamese spring rolls FTW!!!! Always a favorite and somehow not an aversion so far. Definitely get these a few times a week. I wish they were quicker to make at home.

My aversions change by the minute and nausea is fluctuating all over the place. I stopped meal prepping and stick to buying on the go or frozen stuff more which is not wallet friendly at all. But my fresh stuff keeps going bad. I am reminding myself it’s short term.

I am alternating preggie drops and ginger chews throughout the day which seem to be helping me.
  • Toast and cottage cheese…all…day 🫠

Lots of carbs - bread, pasta and potatoes. Every so often a smoothie sounds appetizing so I take advantage to get some fruit and veggies in than when I can.
  • Yes! All I want is French fries!!
