Still looking for more pieces, but I bought a new pair of Ingrid+Isabel flare stretchy maternity jeans at Target that make me feel like I look good when I wear them.

7.) Qᴜᴇꜱᴛɪᴏɴꜱ: is anyone planning on going to any fall festivals/apple orchards/pumpkin patches? This year we might go to a farm that has apple picking and a corn maze, but I'm not sure if it'll be worth going to with a 15 month old when I know he will want to do little more than pick up and try to eat fallen apples.

Waiting for my silly little prophetic dreams before I decide I think its a boy or a girl, I catch myself using both pronouns interchangeably on accident sometimes. I think I lean girl at the moment but only barely because this feels more similar to my girl pregnancy, but they were all different enough I'm far from convinced.

5.) ꜱʏᴍᴘᴛᴏᴍꜱ: Random vomiting with no nausea, fatigue, lightheadedness/ dizziness, boobs are getting huge suddenly, generally low appetite but get terribly nauseated if I don't eat consistently.

6.) ᴀɴʏᴛʜɪɴɢ ᴇxᴄɪᴛɪɴɢ/ᴀɴɴᴏʏɪɴɢ: Met my bestie's new baby last night!! He was so darling. It's a good thing I'm already pregnant 😂 cracks me up because she had a growth scan at 32 wks and they said he was already 6 lbs! Born via c-section at 35 wks, 5lbs 11oz lol. Those scans are always SO off.

7.) Qᴜᴇꜱᴛɪᴏɴꜱ: When should we start a HDBD (hump day bump day) thread?! I've been sitting over here with my little 13wk bloat bump but don't know if anybody else is ready

@midnightatsunset we actually just went apple picking this weekend and our kids had a great time, but our 26 month old absolutely took a bite out of every apple she picked lol (only one was from the ground though!) When our first was this small we definitely didn't do all the expensive pumpkin patch stuff, probably until he was 3? Maybe 2. Our subsequent children have gone as babies for his benefit, and things like slides, trains, carousels, feeding goats, and the corn pits can be fun for the tiny tots, but there's also lots they can't do easily and I don't think you are obligated to use your minimal energy reserves while pregnant to take a barely 1yo to a farm or patch!

6.) ᴀɴʏᴛʜɪɴɢ ᴇxᴄɪᴛɪɴɢ/ᴀɴɴᴏʏɪɴɢ: I want to eat all the sushi but you're not really supposed to eat it while pregnant.

@midnightatsunset I'm currently living in Hawaii so sadly there isn't much fall fun here. There is one pumpkin patch on the island and it gets pretty crazy crowded, but we will probably still go since that's the best we can do. Fall is my favorite season so I get bummed out this time of year since we don't get the seasons. Luckily we are planning to move!

7.) Qᴜᴇꜱᴛɪᴏɴꜱ: what are some of your favorite baby items that are a must? With this being number 3, we have a lot of stuff already, but wondering what I might need that I don’t have that is worth it!

@robinj716 take my advice with a grain of salt, because I do fully believe everybody's essentials are so personal to your family and routines. But my must-haves every baby are: carriers (solly wraps for NB-4/6m; Happy Baby carriers for bigger babies), a GOOD diaper bag (this is up to the individuals bag preference but I LOVE my jujube, had one with my first, bought a cheapo bag with second and regretted it, bought another jujube with baby 3 and we will use again, totally worth it), loved our snuggleme (HATED dock-a-tot) though they're more expensive now than when I first bought it, wait for a sale if you can! Obviously a good pump if you plan to nurse, I really loved the Willow because I have trauma about corded pumps after EPing with my first baby lol.

Whatever you do don’t buy pajamas that button all the way up. Imagine buttoning a gazillion buttons in the middle of the night over and over again. No thank you! The magnetic ones are great. I have 1 because they used to be pretty expensive. I haven’t looked at the prices these days.

5.) ꜱʏᴍᴘᴛᴏᴍꜱ: my boobs hurt so much! Other than that still migraines and dizzy. The meds don't really seem to be doing much, I suspect it's blood pressure related. With my first I had low blood pressure and struggled with dizziness. When I went to the Dr last my blood pressure was low-normal but it had dropped 25 points since my initial prenatal appointment 2.5 weeks prior, I'm not sure if that's typical or not.

6.) ᴀɴʏᴛʜɪɴɢ ᴇxᴄɪᴛɪɴɢ/ᴀɴɴᴏʏɪɴɢ: my toddler has hand foot and mouth. I've been bleaching the whole house which naturally gives me a migraine. Thank goodness my mom is here.

@emeraldcity603 Button pajamas should be outlawed 😂 I think I have some in my bins that I want to resell and take that money to buy some of the newer nice bamboo type PJs. I plan to go thru my bins and resell anything I don’t want/don’t like anymore and get a few new things. I have tons, so I’ll have plenty to reuse also. I’ve never seen or heard of the magenetic ones- interesting!

@robinj716 some moms will swear the buttons are better because how can you zip up the zipper of a zipper jammy without zipping up babies skin? Umm, I do it a million times and have never zipped my baby’s skin. I’m not sure how that can happen so easily.

I announced a pregnancy early and lost the baby around 14 weeks. It was devastating. I spent the next few months repeatedly retelling people that I lost the baby because they were asking how my pregnancy was going. It felt like the wound got ripped open every time. This happened often at church and for a while I swear I was crying every time I was there because someone new was asking how the baby was. So, aside from a few close friends and family, I haven’t told anyone. I’m already showing so people are assuming that I am but no one has dared to ask.

I’m on an antibiotic now so hopefully that will kick it - and I wonder if that’s the cause of my abnormal Pap smears??

I can't hide pregnancy at my job (certain tasks you can't do while pregnant) which is kind of a blessing. I didnt want to announce to all my friends and family so early but it was nice having people know if that makes sense? And we deal in infant loss so it's a comfort that were anything to happen I'd have so much support

@lizdiane456 I had told only my boss pretty immediately about my pregnancy because I had some accommodation needs. And then the next week I had a low blood sugar episode and passed out in the kitchen and she FREAKED, and when the EMTs arrived she kept yelling at them to "be careful with her, she's pregnant" 😂🫠 whole office knew then. A blessing and a curse to not have to pretend I didn't feel like sh*t lol

6.) ᴀɴʏᴛʜɪɴɢ ᴇxᴄɪᴛɪɴɢ/ᴀɴɴᴏʏɪɴɢ: I just really wish the vomiting was done with. Having to go to bed earlier than I want to just to stop the vomiting. Been pretty emotional lately with everything going on in the country right now, and it's a combination of my
hormones but also just the reality. I have low energy still too.

@Roseshadow873 I never tried the BabyBjorn, but I heard there was a recall on them. Haven't really followed up on it though and Magnetic Me pajamas! I've got to make a mental note to try and add this to the registry thread. & which island? If on Oahu, there's a few pumpkin patches there!

@thescarletmom wdym hump bump day thread? lol I had to look up most of these terms you mamas have been using like DD, DS, DH to understand the lingo. For anyone who doesn't know, Darling daughter, darling son, darling husband. Also, I've wanted to try the willow! Might give that a try this go. I did the Momcozy and it was good for about a month then one of the batteries completely died on me.

@fifilala516 mine took about a week. Possibly drink even more water than whatever you're drinking now? I'm not too sure that's my guess. Hopefully the antibiotics have been working okay.

I might go to a pumpkin patch early in the morning and try and be the first there because it's been so hot still, but we'll see how October weather is. It should be fun this year since my little one is getting the hang of so much more this year.

My NIPT came back - we’re having another girl! Everything was low risk for the trisomies but Monosomy X came back “no result.” It’s most likely a sample thing/low fetal fraction but of course I let myself go down the rabbit hole. I’m going for a repeat draw on Tuesday.

@blossomingmama lol it's just a photo thread for posting your cute baby bump! I've been on the bump since 2015 and it was extremely lingo heavy back in the day so it's just what I'm used to!

@fifilala516 congratulations!! I totally get the spiral, even though it's almost sure to just be a testing error. Hopefully you'll get the new results back quickly so you can take a breath! I'm completely happy with either sex, but since my sons already have brothers, I would love to give my daughter a sister too! Though who knows, my daughter is the most high energy, totally nuts toddler I've ever met so maybe I cannot handle two of her 😂

@thescarletmom lol I know, I've seen some of the moms mention it was used more about ten years ago. The bump thread sounds fun though.

I don't feel I've necessarily rounded out yet, but I'll be getting there any week now. Definitely feeling pressure on my bladder though. Bump says size of a peach 🍑 as of today. Excited to see my little bean Monday, for sure.

@blossomingmama It looks like the recall is for much older models of the bouncers. The one I had for my son was only from a couple years ago and it looks like it's still for sale. I live on Maui now. I used to live on Oahu a long time ago, and many other places. I have moved a lot. We only just moved here last year but I just can't take it.

@RoseShadow873 oh okay, yeah that makes sense then about the older models. & yeah island life is not for the weak, especially if you're not used to islands or the culture. Definitely a culture shock when I moved to Oahu and the access to stuff that I would have gotten on mainland just sucked, plus traffic ugh lol. I've always heard Maui is slightly better than Oahu for many reasons, haven't traveled to Maui yet though.
