Did you have to see your baby for it to be real?

Just had my first scan & baby was punching and kicking and spinning around, also strong heartbeat! It’s real lol also I know some women who basically NEVER get a single scan done their entire pregnancy, unless their midwife says they really should. Could you do that?

Yes! I personally only feel the anatomy scan should be the o ly ultrasound given, unless there is a medical need. Its rediculous how many scans are given, I also feel the boutique scan places should be totally banned!

I think it depends on the kind of care you’re comfortable with, but for me, the scans were so worth it.

That’s pretty extreme, care to share why you feel that way? I’m pretty anxious so ultrasounds are a huge help for me plus other people have different needs from you and boutiques are super helpful for those who need other means to get an ultrasound. I’m just curious since you seem to feel so strongly about it

Yes I did with my twins! Feeling the same way about this pregnancy. First scan not until 11 September and I can't really relax into the pregnancy until then.

Honestly I love the scans, even just to see them wiggling. Feels like a little peek into their world.

It definitely doesn’t set in for me until the first ultrasound lol. I feel like until then I’m still somewhat in disbelief lol.
