My nearly 5-week old son seems to have so much excitement with life that he is awake for longer than what says his wake window should be. Im wondering how accurate they are by age? At his age it shows he should only be awake for 60, maybe 90, minutes but he often goes for 2-hour stretches. He’s just laying there wide-eyed, not necessarily fussy.
Anyone else experience this? Can wake windows be this different by baby?

During the first three months, babies are marvelously adapting to the world, developing basic motor skills, and forming emotional bonds. Their adorable coos and tiny movements reveal the beauty of early infancy.
My 3 month old had long wake windows as a new baby up to 5-6 weeks old as well. Especially in the earlier weeks. I was concerned about this. Then I learned his sleepy cues and started assisting him down for naps after every 1.5 hour wake window. It created a great routine and now he is ready for his frequent naps throughout the day. His cues are: red eyebrows, raising his fists almost in a clutched position to his shoulders, avoiding eye contact, some fussiness. It turned out that even though he didn’t look or seem tired during those long wake windows, he was! And once I provided to sleep support (rocking, paci), he went right to sleep.
Also, I find that every baby is super different with sleep needs.
