Snoo Bassinet

Has anyone used a snoo Bassinet and if so, is it worth it? My first did not sleep, at all, unless he was being held for the first 6 months. So I'm considering the (significant) investment of buying a snoo but before I drop $1000 on the thing I'd love to hear some options.

    You may be able to rent one for a few months. I know I have heard of moms doing that due to the significant cost of it.

    @emeraldcity603 I've looked into it, it doesn't honestly make sense since we plan on having more kids after this, most want $125-150/month, at 6 months per kid for 1-3 more kids think I'd be better to buy one used off marketplace where they are going for $750ish

    I know some people swear by it and others think it doesn’t make a difference. I just can’t justify the price - there are similar ones now that are a little cheaper, like the 4Moms.

    Before you go and spend a lot I would wait and see what kind of sleeper you get. You know how my august baby sleeps. I have had a baby who wouldn’t sleep and then I was blessed with a baby who slept great and then my last who sleeps amazing (my August baby). So you aren’t guaranteed to have a poor sleeper again. Just something to consider.

    I would agree that not all babies are the same sleepers. Regardless of what people online might say, if your baby has a hard time sleeping it's not inherently because you did something wrong. Next baby might be totally different!

    Yep! I have literally done the same thing with all my babies. It’s definitely baby specific. I’m not sure if my super bad sleeper was gassy or what but he never slept more than 3 hours at a time. My current baby will still take 3 hour naps sometimes and sleep 14 hours at night. On the flip side, all of that has to be at home in his own bed. He won’t sleep away from the house. My not so good sleepers would sleep better in different places so I guess there are trade offs.
