@kennedykhughes the short answer is yes it is too early, there's a lot of tricks online like the nub theory to try and figure it out but they aren't really accurate unfortunately. You can tell with bloodwork now though (NIPT)
I probably would absolutely trust a 12 week scan. However, with my last pregnancy I was in the middle of my 12 week scan when my genetic testing came back. She was like, I think we have a boy! Then she left the room to see if my results had come in. Sure enough they had and it was confirmed we were having a boy.
This is the response I was hoping for! We’re not doing the genetic testing at ten weeks (insurance reasons) so I am REALLY hoping for a miracle here. 🤣
I’m kind of expecting to not get an answer. Just wishful thinking mostly. We aren’t doing testing until 16 weeks because of insurance. So I was mostly just crossing my fingers to know before then. Patience is hard right now. lol
