PRETERM LABOR

I’m 31 weeks 3 days. I went to my regular obgyn’s labor and delivery floor Friday where I was 3cm 50% effaced with a bulging bag of water, and baby head down. I went just because of some cramps and a backache. I got sent to a special hospital with a nicu. Where I was 4cm and 80% effaced. I stayed until yesterday. I’ve had some cramping, backache, nausea, pressure, etc since. But don’t want to call the on call unless absolute necessary. Has anybody gone through something like this and if so when did you call the on call? I also was giving medicines to help delay labor and help with contracting and baby got steroids.

    I went through something similar around 32 weeks. I’d say if anything feels different or more intense, it’s always worth calling — better safe than sorry. You’re doing great, and baby’s in good hands. 💛
