Gender Reveal?

Is anyone planning on doing a gender reveal or have done one in the past? We are planning one this time around as we didn’t for our first. Wondering what were some things that really made that day one to remember and how you announced it. We were thinking of doing an “explosion cake” with the color sprinkles in the middle so when you cut it they pour out. Or possibly incorporating our daughter in some way (she’s only 2.5). Would love to hear peoples ideas and inspiration!

Hi! I’m in the same boat as you - decided to do a reveal this time around as I didn’t do it with my first. It’s this coming Saturday so I can’t say how it’s going to go, but I’ll share how I’m doing the reveal! I decided on “what will baby bee” theme and I painted a big Halloween cauldron to look like a honey pot and my aunt (the gender keeper) is putting a blue or pink smoke bomb in there!

@sabtownnn that is such a cute theme! I love the creativity put into it. Bee’s were the symbol of my first pregnancy so I’m always team anything bee. We are doing ours on the 12th so we have about 2 weeks left. Ours is pretty much just for the family now since we know what the gender is already thanks to a Dr. mishap 🫣🙃 We decided on doing a cake. Pretty standard. We may have our daughter be the one to dive into the cake. I’d love to hear how yours goes over the weekend! 😍🐝

I’ve seen people do balloon boxes where the sibling opens it and the balloons float out. That might be fun for your daughter too!
