  𝗘𝗗𝗗 / 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸𝘀 + 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀: 38w5days - induction July 1st

  𝗙𝗧𝗠/𝗦𝗧𝗠/𝗧𝗧𝗠+/𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱: Fourth and final. All slots are now full.

  𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝘂𝘁/𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲/𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗸/𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻: I’ll let you know after the 1st! 

  𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴? I miss seeing my ankle bones. My legs look like an elephant’s. Excited to know that process will start reversing soon. 

  𝗥𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀/𝗥𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀: Rave: I’ve been going on early morning walks most mornings and it’s been so nice. I’m trying to balance not pushing myself too much and also recognizing that I’ll be taking a break from them for a little bit here soon. 

  𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: just missing everyone and wondering how everyone is doing! 

  𝗚𝗧𝗞𝗬: What do you want to eat/drink as your first post-birth meal? Every time I’ve told my husband to have a deli sandwich from a local place ready for me “as soon as that baby is out!”. 😂 I have two favorites that I get excited about months before the big day. I know I could get them now and have them serve it hot, but it’s not the same. And also sushi!

  @routtymama- I said the same thing about craving deli sandwiches 😂 my husband knows I want a cold sub stacked with deli meats and jalapeños the moment our boy is born.

  𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝘂𝘁/𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲/𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗸/𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻: PINK

  𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴? Nervous

  𝗥𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀/𝗥𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀: I have to be induced on 7/17 because of preeclampsia and partial placental abruption. I’m nervous because I thought I’d have 3 more weeks (I’m aware babies come when they wanna come) but I guess I was already at peace with the spontaneity of it all and now I’m not sure about the labor after induction or the increased risk of c-section or the fact my baby could be distressed at all during this process. I feel like 18 days is so soon. I feel simultaneously prepared and unprepared. We haven’t even attended our childbirth class yet because it starts Thursday (7/3) and ends induction day! I mean this is all much better than the alternative which was potentially a c-section at 31w5d when we weren’t sure of the severity of my abruption yet; and I’m nearly past the required NICU stay point now! For what started out as an uncomplicated and standard pregnancy sure has shifted gears this last trimester.
  Questions: was anyone else’s spouse/partner afraid the baby would gouge their own eyes out with their sharp newborn baby claws as much as mine worries about it?
