2nd anniversary present ideas?

Hi ladies! My hubby and I are approaching our 2nd year anniversary, we are trying to keep it low key. Any good ideas on what to get him for the 2nd anniversary??

Re: 2nd anniversary present ideas?

  • Second anniversary was hard - paper or cotton are the traditional gifts.  DH had someone on etsy write our vows in calligraphy and had them framed. Which I thought was amazing.
Pretty sure I bombed in the gift department on our second anniversary and got him a pair of pants.

  • Get him something meaningful or fav sport something along those lines
  • Cotton is the traditional gift but that's hard. What about a jersey framed of his favorite player? My husband would love that
  • because cotton is traditional, I am thinking of buying my hubby a hammock for our new house, like this:

But I also considered some nice new sheets (some of the ones we registered for have not held up that well).

  • I try to stick to the traditional gifts as best I can.  For our second anniversary, I sprung for a really good sheet set - way more than we would normally spend on sheets.  It was so worth it and they are his favorite sheets.  I think I also got him some pj pants and a t-shirt.

  • Oh, another idea would be undies or PJ pants from meundies. They are not cheap, but my husband loves them, especially the PJ/lounge pants: https://www.meundies.com/products/the-lounge-pant

If you want to go this route, PM me your email and I can send you a 20% off coupon. (Or maybe you can get one for signing up for their mailing list)

  • I get my hubby a card every year, he gets me flowers. We try to plan a night out for ourselves. That's it. Our night out is kind of our gift to each other, and with kids, it's priceless! We don't really do gifts, except Christmas. Don't feel like you need to get him anything.  Being your second anniversary  you can still set the bar for future  anniversaries. .. for a night or weekend away, or whatever little thing you want to make tradition. But if you guys are into gifting, then something simple and meaningful sounds nice. Or something he collects?
  • We went with cotton and had our favorite picture from vacation made into a 3 piece canvas for our living room.

Congrats on your upcoming anniversary! 🎉 For a low-key but thoughtful gift, maybe consider something personal like a custom watch or a handwritten letter with a small keepsake. One year, I actually put together a little "self-care" basket for my husband with things he never buys for himself—funny enough, he ended up loving my glycolic acid toner more than I expected 😂. Sometimes the unexpected gifts are the most memorable! 💡💖

Hi! For a low-key but meaningful 2nd anniversary (which is traditionally cotton), you could go with something cozy like matching personalized T-shirts or a custom photo blanket. If he’s more into experiences or tech, a gift card from blackhawk network might be perfect—they offer tons of options so he can pick exactly what he wants.

A small leather wallet or cardholder
  •  I got him some matching PJ sets and we just had a movie marathon at home. Nothing fancy but super sweet.

    Very interesting info!
  • The traditional 2nd anniversary gift is cotton, so maybe some cozy matching robes or a personalized T-shirt? I’ve also seen custom photo blankets that are really cute!
