  So the other night I'm just scrubbing away at some dishes. Typically I'd be watching a pod on YT, thankfully I wasn't this particular evening. Just doing my thing when I nearly grab a SCORPION to rinse and put in the dishwasher. I quickly turned on the disposal and down she went, but a new fear was indeed unlocked. 
  I did more research and now I'm terrified of sitting on the toilet! I'm flushing before lifting the seat to look around. And I'm already peeing all the time. I told my sons to do the same. Needless to say, I'm not impressed.

  @emeraldmaybythebay HOLY sh*t! Do you live in TX? I was just hearing from a friend of mine who was vacationing there that she wouldn't want to live there because of the scorpions (and red wasps... another terror for me) so now I'm like... I'm never going there!

  No. This happened at our home in NM. I love it normally, but we aren't usually here in the summers. I'm not a desert gal, that's for sure. When we got here this year we had a red racer in the basement and I saw 3 snakes getting the yard back in order. I have seen 4 scorpions but that was a first for me to find one in the sink!  I think now that the yard is in order and I've deep cleaned the home, it will be better. I'd take mountain lions and bears from our off grid mountain spot over these critters and day! 😆
