Hi There, im 48 next month and just found out im 4 -5 weeks pregnant 😱 total shock because I was told a few years ago I would never get pregnant without IVF after trying for 2 years. This is a miracle really.
The father is a younger guy (37) I was seeing casually over the last few months, (not serious because he is planning on travelling) but have known him for almost a year. He isn’t very happy about it 😏 - feeling very lost and alone. All my family live overseas - i do have an amazing support network of friends though. A couple of people know my news and have been an amazing support.
Just reaching out because this is so scary and totally a shock because I had built a lifestyle without kids in mind. The emotional rollercoaster is so painful and im changing my mind on what to do by the hour.

Hi there. I’m 43 and living in Thailand (for work) while my husband is back home in Canada. After trying years to conceive and had multiple losses, we didn’t think we could get pregnant. Several weeks ago, he came for a visit and lo and behold, I’m 6 weeks pregnant! I’ve also made a wonderful life here away from my friends and family. I’m not really interested in moving back to Canada. I’d love to raise our child in Thailand, at least for the first several years. I’m also torn. Sometimes lonely. I’m just grateful that I am pregnant. I’m wishing you so much health, grace, and love. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you ever need a chat.
